You’re the one making claims, I just wanted to know where you got them from(like Bullies being fighting dogs). I want to know more of these “researchers”, that’s why I asked. Collecting research of what until 2000? If a dog’s history didn’t consists of attacks to people from the creation of the breed to modern day times, then that absolutely tells you that attacks from dog to man didn’t happen as often as the public thinks. The general public believes that “Pit Bull” is an umbrella term, so that…

Which specific studies do you speak of? Mind sending me the link you’re referring to? To the average person, all Bull Breeds are considered to be the same breed(Pit Bull) so there’s always going to be mislabeling when the general public thinks that way. Hulk is considered to be the worlds largest “Pit Bull”, yet it’s obvious that he has Bully influence than Pit Bull. Even catchweight Pit Bulls don’t get THAT big. I didn’t say dog fighting doesn’t happen anymore, I said the American Pit Bull Terr…

Also, if you like I can send you articles of other attacks from dogs that aren’t Pit Bulls but from other Bull Breeds as well. For example, a good chunk of “Pit Bull Attacks” are from Blue dogs yet blue is a color more commonly found in AmStaffs and Bullies, not Pit Bulls.

What sources? Because the progenitor of the American Pit Bull Terrier, the “Bull and Terrier”(also commonly called Half and Half’s, Pit Bulldog, Pit Bull Terrier, and Pit Bull), was used for dog fighting once Bull Baiting was banned in 1835. Charlie Lloyd’s Pilot was a famous fighting “Bull and Terrier” that is in many modern famous fighting Pit Bulls to this day. To this day, the only breed of the Bull Breed category that is being used for dog fighting to this day AND has the words “Pit Bull” i…

Pit Bulls were created for the bloodsport of dog fighting, not murdering dogs. Contrary to popular belief, dog fights aren’t to the death, otherwise we wouldn’t have dogs with Losses(L) in their records. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier were the strain of “Bull and Terriers” that stayed back home in the British Isles and were used mostly for hunting badgers/foxes than fighting each other. The ones that immigrated to America were the fighting dogs that later turned into American Pit Bull Terriers. …

Pit Bulls rarely go pass 60 lbs.

That statistic is skewed because not only is the American Pit Bull Terrier(Pit Bulls) involved in those numbers, but the American Staffordshire Terrier(AmStaff), American Bully(Bully), and Staffordshire Bull Terrier(Staffy) as well because the general public views all of those dogs as “Pit Bulls”. So when you’re pinning the actions of 3 other breeds to 1 just because of their similarities, you’re going to obviously get a higher number than what it actually is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
