1	Polarization & Rejection Yeah of course, I would say there are 4 categories, the ones that will engage in a conversation (usually happens when you have a common friend) and it happens quite frequently, the open ones, the neutral and the non-receptive as you mentioned. 2	How do you treat people who text slow, but always respond? He is right. Now as to how to handle the situation, a nice tactic is to become online and reply instantly for 10-20 minutes, and after that not sending a message at all for 5-6 hours if it is afternoon, or 2-4 if it is night. Later in the day/night if you come back (no more than once) do the same for 5 minutes and that's it, tomorrow again.
