OP, i hope you never have to go visit a loved one with this condition only to have them not recognise you, even being fearful of this stranger in front of them. you end up visiting someone who is just an empty vessel of the person you once knew. that connection you had is gone but the body still remains. you visit, but leave wondering why you bother visiting someone who doesnt recognise anyone, but you still go again anyway. its soul crushing for everyone involved.

Had a crazy bitch co worker who kept making various comments and questions anytime I took annual leave. One day she made a comment in front of others and I told her I have seen her drive slowly past my house many times on my security cameras, especially when I had holidays and that's actually called stalking. She was scrambling for answers to defend her actions, others laughed or agreed. Truth was I didn't have security cameras at that time.

You do a few tasks repeatedly, many of those tasks with automation. OTOH, there is always some sort of job or renovation that doesn't have automation and takes whole days, weekends or even multiple weekends. Everyone is chipping in some way or other. But go ahead and clutch your pearls about how women have it worse because pressing a button on the dishwasher is so hard.

what i experienced with ex-w and also friends wives/ex's is they they not only want you to do some of those things but they want them done exactly how they would do them. they want chore X done so you do it and its perfectly fine, the job got done properly. but because you did something in a slightly different way to her it causes a meltdown.
