Did I just fall in love? Yup. Now I wish I didn't get the vasectomy.

I have actually asked for increased pto during the negotiations. As well as increased stock options. The company negotiated to half what I asked for, and I accepted their counter offer. It happens all the time.

Yes, but the laws do not take into account that fact that companies can do what they want in the US, and would be willing to bet thats the case throughout the world. If you are a good worker and your are worth the time and effort to your employer they will invest into you. I would rather like to see the data for FMLA and other similar laws represented. The data in this map is skewed.

I have to say this map is inaccurate. Paid leave is available in the US. It is just up to companies to offer it, and you to negotiate for it. When my son was born, I was generously given 6 weeks of paid time off to help with my wife. And my wife was given 4 months off PAID by the hospital she works for. 14+ weeks of mandatory paid time off is a little ridiculous, unless there are health concerns. People in the US can always negotiate for more paid time off as part of the hiring process.

No, when you word it that way. But we don't know the entire topic for the assembly or what was said. So assuming on what was said or not is stupid for everyone.

I think he is implying that men could be victims of a female sexual assailant as well. So by not teaching the men, and only the women it instills the idea that only men commit sexual assault.

Its a 15 minute procedure and it's the profession he chose. I chose to wrench on motorcycles all day.

I felt like I was being questioned on something that I should not be doing. It was uncomfortable and made feel bad for what I was doing. But knowing I did not want any more surprise "Hi, I am pregnant" situations. I was going through with it no matter what.

I had my vasectomy in 2010. I had to almost bribe my doctor into doing it for me.

With all of the nasty stuff that happens, I count this as a little victory for myself. I (we) have a long road ahead, but as long as we can stay together. As long as we fight for simple wins. The simple wins will eventually be big wins. Then we (Men and Women) will be equal. Only when we stop looking at things as a gender issue. But as a Society issue. Will we actually win.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
