It sounds like they've raised a ton of capital, which is surprising. In this case, not only are you limiting your customer base to women. But you're limiting to "businesswomen" who are, to some extent, looking for a safe space to conduct their business. They're more concerned with "empowering women" than with actually running the most efficient business possible. Even to the extent that there is a demand for this type of office space, the customers making up that demand are handicapping themselv…

On their "apply for membership" page, they do say: All memberships are an annual commitment. *The Wing is a diverse community open to all.** [Emphasis Added] Anyone in New York know anything about this place? Saw it on CNBC this week. It's basically co-office / office rental space, but it is presented as being limited to women. Anyone know if men have actually used the service? Or if any lawsuits have been filed against this company?

At the end of the day, all I care about is legal equality. Societal expectations are optional. People can choose to adhere to them or choose to ignore them. Laws are not optional. If the law is biased against you, you have no recourse (other than trying to change the law and having feminists fight those changes). Most of the arguments that are presented are about societal expectations, so I'm not personally particularly passionate about them. Men are incarcerated because they commit more crimes.…

I don't care about social expectations. I can choose to adhere to social expectations or not. All I care about is equal laws and equal enforcement of those laws. I can't overcome that without changing the law.

Doesn't make sense unless she's been charged before. She only got violent after he tried to dump her. Must be some other flaws there that aren't evident and that are so severe that her being hot doesn't make up for them.

You're right. There is nothing wrong with this. The idea isn't to point out something wrong with the individuals involved. The idea is to point out the hypocrisy of feminists who claim that any action without prior consent is sexual assault, but then are silent when something like this happens. Clearly, there was no request for consent - much less and affirmative response to such a request. So where are the affirmative consent hysterics? Have any of them done so much as to start a hashtag demand…

I seriously think that feminists don't understand what a "right" is. When they do genuinely answer the question, it is typically something like "Women don't have the right to walk down the street without being cat called" or "Women don't have the right to equal pay for equal work". Yes. Yes you do. You have the exact same rights as men. And if someone violates those right, you use the legal process to enforce those rights.

Putting aside men's rights for a second and looking at this from a business perspective, I think things could get interesting for Google and business in general. Google is currently facing lawsuits from both side essentially. White men are suing for discrimination while women and other minorities are simultaneously suing for discrimination. Since the cases will be heard by different juries (and likely in different jurisdictions), what happens when Google is found liable in both cases? Can a comp…

I don't think it could ever happen in a situation where the boy was recognized as a victim. But say a 14 year old boy and a 27 year old woman have sex. If the woman claims that he was the aggressor and forced her to have sex, now he's the rapist and she's the victim. Somehow, I don't think it would be the same if a 27 year old guy claimed a 14 year old girl had raped him.

Because no body cares if a guy is sexually assaulted or harassed because people don't think that a man can be sexually assaulted or harassed. Matt Lauer was fired for having a consensual relationship with a woman he worked with. He was replaced by a women who oiled up a male who was a stranger to her on live TV. The disconnected is remarkable. And the fact that NBC feels no need to remove that video with the benefit of hindsight speaks volumes.

If you limit those domestic duties to the ones that men actually care about being done, I think it'd be pretty even, or men doing more. But, no, I'm not going to vacuum the curtains every Wednesday and Saturday just because you think it needs to be done. If that's what you want done, then you're free to do it yourself.

You would only be liable for back child support if there were an order for you to pay child support at the time (whether you knew that order existed or not). So if she went to court 20 years ago and was awarded child support, but they never found you to collect that child support, you'd still be liable. But if she never sought child support, she can't go back now and file for it retro-actively. IANAL, but I've taken a few legal courses, and the above seems what would logically be the case.

Women have always used sex to hold on to men because if they don't give the type of sex the man wants, some other woman will do it to get the status, money, security, etc. from the man. This woman is basically saying that men should just give to relationships and women should just take. Women shouldn't have to give anything and men shouldn't get anything out of relationships.

This is an endless circle: Feminist tell young women that if they regret consensual sex, it is rape. Believing this, young women who consent to sex and then regret it report that encounter to police as a rape. Police question the accuser (which feminists say they shouldn't do), and conclude "like, you consented to sex, there's no crime here" Feminists cry foul and claim "It seems highly unlikely that of those that do get reported [in Lincolnshire] a third are not pursuable and no crime has taken…

I disagree with greatly, one of the big ones advocating for men to stay single and avoid marriage and having children. The idea being that women are bad and will divorce rape you, by making claims of abuse, take your kids and money, and but you in jail for a crime you didn’t commit. I think you're misunderstanding what you're reading. This isn't about hating women and not being able to trust women. Boys will simply become doormats trying to please women while fearing that any slight and unintended misstep will get them called out and shamed to their peer group on social media. I'm not sure that studying "unwanted sex" is really worthwhile. If you are having unwanted sex, then you need to look at yourself internally and figure out why you are choosing to have sex you don't want. So to the extent these studies are designed to help people (men or women) better understand themselves and how to avoid unwanted sex, I guess they may have some use. But the big concern is nonconsensual sex, not unwanted sex. I fear that studies and reports like these may confuse (either intent…

Try to get sole custody of the kid. If not that, get as much custody as you can. Is she going to have time to properly care for this child while also dealing with the stresses of holding down a $180,000/year job? Once you get sole or partial custody, you can get a good chunk of that sweet $180,000 paid to you for child support.

This is just wrong. What we first need to do is listen to victims and believe them. We need to show victims empathy by coddling them. If you are raped after failing to say "no" to sex, it isn't your fault! Only the abuser is to blame. The victim is never to blame for her own rape! Am I doing this right?

I see a lot of feminist sometimes bashing this idea as well I added a key word for you there. The whole idea behind "enthusiastic, on-going, affirmative consent" is to create a situation where anything can be called rape. If the consent wasn't enthusiastic enough, or frequent enough or verbal enough, it could be described as rape. But feminists have been careful to never define what "enough" is. Feminists view of gender equality is to equalize things where men have an advantage while leaving imbalance in things where women have an advantage. For example, I've never heard a feminist advocate for providing men and women with equal post-conception reproductive rights. In fact, they openly and loudly advocate that the current imbalance be maintained and expanded.

There is no way to know how many rape accusations are false because for any given rape accusation, there is virtually no way to know whether it fits into the "rape" or "false accusation" category unless the two people involved agree. I think it is rare for a vindictive woman to level a completely false accusation. I question the phrasing of the question using the word "inappropriate". I don't think one-on-one meetings with women are inappropriate, I just think they are dangerous. Women are vulnerable to what unscrupulous men might do. Men are vulnerable to what unscrupulous women might accuse.

I've been on this earth for 50 years. If I wanted to tell my #MeToo story and label myself a victim, I could tell a dozen stories without even thinking about it. I start thinking about it, and I'm sure I could get into scores of stories. Since I'm in that situation, I assume that everyone else is in that situation too. And I think it really detracts from people who are legitimately traumatized by actual sexual assault and rape, when people just want to be part of the club so they start equating …

I'll admit I haven't sought out news and details. I know the big picture though. And part of the big picture is that a large number of people, primarily women, want to make sure that they can be part of the #MeToo movement. So they are racking their brains to find a situation from their past that they've long forgotten, but that they can now use to claim victim status.

My understanding of Terry Crews allegation is that some powerful Hollywood dude grabbed Terry's junk, through his clothes, at a party one night. If that's what you're referring to, YES. That is a perfect example of something that people should "get over". On the scale of "is it good or bad" that it happened, sure, I'll put it on the bad side. But so what? This is a men's rights issue why? Two reasons: Because not every accusation leveled against a man accurately portrays the events that occurred, and (More importantly in my mind) Many of the accusations that have been leveled, even if 100% true, need to be solved by women getting the fuck over it, not by demonizing men for pursuing relationships with women.

The problem with "teaching consent", or at least the way consent is currently "taught", is that it is always directed at a target audience of sexual pursuers (typically men) without regard to how the sexually pursued might perceive the message when they hear it. Dragging your ass off to work every morning to earn enough money so you can support another adult and children so the adult can see their kids and friends is "luxury". Talk to your friend who is “kind of a creep” at work. Why would I have a friend who is kind of a creep? I don't hang around those types of guys. Don’t talk over women. I don't typically talk over men or women. But I'll talk over either if they are being rude or trying to talk over me. I'm sure the author isn't suggesting that I should treat women differently than how I treat men. That wouldn't be equality. Don’t call women “crazy” in a professional setting. I'll call crazy people crazy (although…

Post conception reproductive rights. 97% of alimony payers are men.

So....... treat men and women equally, or treat women and men differently? I'm so confused.

I don't know where you're getting that from. The whole idea behind #MeToo was that soooo many women would post it that everyone would realize what a huuugeee problem sexual assault and harassment were. I don't know about your social media feed, but of my 210 Facebook friends, a whooping 3 people posted #MeToo. But if men who don't sexually harass started posting #NotMe, and 70%, 80%, 90% of the guys on my facebook feed posted it? Yeah, that'd start to let me know the magnitude of the sexual hara…

If you define sexual harassment as "unwelcome sexual advances", then I'd be shocked if any adult in the U.S. can't truthfully post "me too". I know I could, likely dozens of times over.

How is this apologizing to feminists or anyone else?

We have no idea how rare they are because we have no idea whether a particular accusation gets categorized as rape, or as a false accusation. And we probably need at least 4 categories regardless: Malicious false accusations. Confused false accusations. Confused rapes. Malicious rapes.

This is why today's trending #MeToo discussion is irrelevant. Some people posting #MeToo were violently raped while others posting #MeToo gave a consensual interview to a blogger that made them feel uncomfortable. So long as feminists and those pushing an agenda continue to equate ucomfortableness with rape, nothing will ever get addressed - much less solved.

Is it ok for men to ask for equal rights? Is it ok for men to say no? Is it ok for men to choose to not be a parent after conception? Is it ok for men to put themselves before women and children? Is it ok for men to opt out of dating and relationships? From what I read on reddit, especially subs claiming to be "just about equality", the answer to all those is no. The Axe ad is fine, but it doesn't address any real issues. No body sane gives a shit if a guy has long hair, wears pink and shaves hi…

It's on Twitter, Facebook and other social media. It is a recommended response to the #MeToo campaign that is attempting to demonize men.

My feminists, SJW whack-job cousin posted it. I was tempted to reply with "Me too. By your brother. I was 8."

Isn't that how much money a woman spends for every dollar a man makes.

"As a proud feminist with little desire to diet, get plastic surgery or hire a personal trainer, I have almost no personal experience with men asking me to meetings in their hotel rooms," Bialik wrote. "Those of us in Hollywood who don’t represent an impossible standard of beauty have the 'luxury' of being overlooked and, in many cases, ignored by men in power unless we can make them money." Or, on the converse, if you present yourself in a manner that makes your sexuality the majority of your w…

I'm convinced its a regional thing. Women taking pleasure and joy in shaming men was pretty typical when I lived in the midwest. Moved to the Southeast and the women here are generally kind.

When you consent to sex and then the accused rapist doesn't go to jail, that's not the system failing. That's the system working.
