The wage gap is the theory women get paid less then men for the same jobs which is false, the income of a spouse for different jobs is not a wage gap, husbands don’t always earn higher, they tend to because the women risks all that experience she would have got to take care of the kids. Well mostly they make more because socially the woman is the one that stays home with the kids, that’s why men tend to make more on average. Idk if you thought I was saying you were wrong but I wasn’t. If there was a wage gap then only females would be hired cause they could pay them less
