It's a little funny reading your argument, because you're both in the same place, and just arguing that it's not the same place because of how you got there. You're essentially arguing that there's no HB10 because no girl will ever be absolutely perfect. Thesacred is arguing that the label "HB10" applies to many girls, because the rating system itself isn't a matter of absolute perfection, just a question of meeting standards. Ironically, you're the one insisting on upholding the sanctity of the…

Nobody needs to use another man's HB scale. Pardon my French, but according to that scale, only self-entitled bitches can be HB9s. That, by definition, would disqualify any woman from being an HB9 to me. To each his own, but I think a healthy "HB9" would be someone with a personality to match her looks.

I know two other people who took it. All of us got dry lips, slightly dry skin and a dry skin rash that was cured by simply using moisturizer after a shower, and...that's it. A lot of the "side effects," like suicide, have been debunked by statistical analysis. There are certainly some side effects that happen more rarely, I get that. But I really believe that they're not so common that you should live every day of your life with acne because the theoretical future risk is too great. I literally…

I do not claim to know everything about Accutane, but that particular website is a lawsuit solicitation page, and little else. If there's some unbiased medical information page, that's one thing, but... Also, knowing the ABA model code of ethics, I'm pretty sure that site could have whoever is running it brought up on ethics violation. It is clearly a solicitation and advertisement, but discloses nowhere who the lawyer or firm doing the soliciting is.

Accutane. Seriously--I should've done it ten years ago. It's a miracle drug, though you'll go through two sets of lips per day once it kicks in. However, once you finish 5-6 months, the acne should basically be gone forever.

A woman, on the other hand, may have to deal with months in the gym, plastic surgery, and liposuction, and even then, there's no guaranteed way to hide one's age. What about...oh...I don't know...makeup? I think a girl can move herself two points up on that scale with just clothing and makeup. Comparatively, if we assume guys are primarily after good looking girls and girls are after interesting guys, a guy has to actually be more interesting/funny/charismatic to make the same leap. I'm not sayi…

Nope. He made a probability estimate bast on past experiences with other women. Your "misogynist" example is a straw man version of what he said. More relevant would be to take his statement and replace just the gender: If someone said to me, "I'd wager that you might have even caved once or twice for an attractive enough persistent girl." I'd say, "That's very logical, because the basis of your statement is that attraction factors in to how we respond to persistent advances." I mean, are you sa…

"I love your lips. I've red somewhere that your nipples are usually the same colour as your lips. I wonder if that's really the case" And what was the response to that? There's pros and cons, and you may not realize you're too horny to know when you're crossing the line into creepy. I imagine a lot of girls would think that, as an opener, saying that would cross that line. Likewise, I would think a lot of guys who seem to not care about sex but still are interesting/funny would be more desirable…

I really need a guide like this to NYC. Everyone just assumes you can find a place easy in NYC, but some tips about what to expect and what bars to recommend for certain atmospheres and game would be pretty awesome.

I dunno, I got a perfect score on that test. Didn't seem that hard. Maybe I just get a lot more fake smiles directed at me than anyone.

What are some that you use? Most conversation about "shit tests" here refers to female shit tests for males. So I'm curious.

This comment is unexpected and so nice to see in seddit--it goes beyond PUA techniques and the sterile mechanics of life and sex, and touches something more fundamentally human. I imagine you wrote it mostly to tell someone, anyone. But I feel I am a better person for reading it. So thank you.

Jebus. The beta is strong this one. What part of being non-reactive, unattached to outcomes, and having an attitude of abundance do you not understand? Ouch, dude. He said he's "very new" - he doesn't understand any part of "non-reactive," "unattached to outcomes," and "attitude of abundance" because he's never heard them before in his life. A simple "you need to study up" (which you did get to, to your credit) should be sufficient.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure having game is a good confidence builder. But so is looking good enough to be in a fashion magazine. The reason why it's harder to take a model seriously is because being good looking makes every aspect of the game easier. It's like taking lessons on how to play a video game from someone who plays on "easy" while you play on "normal" or "hard." They might be very good, have better skills than you, but it's hard to know. And conversely, they might have worse skills, a…

I dunno, being in a fashion magazine typically puts you in the top 10% (or whatever) of attractiveness. It was probably too harsh for me to suggest he didn't get the girl through game. But nonetheless, it's impossible to tell whether his earned "game" did it or his unearned inborn "looks" did it. And so for those of us not in the "magazine model" category, it's pretty hard to feel like his success should give us confidence for our own attempts.

"i pull out a men's fashion magazine that my picture is inside. i tell her to look in this magazine to find a guy she likes, because i want to know her type. i only let her flip through a few pages when i said, "no, actually i can guess your type." then flip to the page with my picture in it, and she loves it!" Yeah, weird. I read up to this point sympathizing, but if you're in a men's fashion magazine, it basically told me that this wasn't so much the "killer game" method as "really good lookin…

Unless you've got a pregnant SO and you're thinking of passing it on to your children when they're age 5 or so, don't bother. Disc rot takes most discs, even those stored out of light and with no scratches, to the grave after 6 years or so. No matter how much companies advertise that they last for decades.

Well, that's one valid explanation. Either you or scazrelet could be right--we don't know if his friends were walking all over him, or if conversely he just turned into a self-absorbed asshole. But I definitely had the same reaction as scazrelet--if a friend came in and told me I had turned into a jerk, it at least warrants the thought that maybe you've gone too far. And additionally, it's important to remember that there are other motivations to be nice to people other than the "Good Guy Contra…

As an absolute beginner to fashionable clothing: What do you pay for an entire ensemble/suit? That means, shirt, jacket, tie, pants, any accessories, and tailoring? I feel like I have to take the plunge, but a lot of the fashionable things I see linked to are like $2,000 for a suit. I just don't have that kind of money.

I'm also a fairly new sedditor and have a follow up question--and I have to assure you I'm not trolling: What's a woman doing on seddit? What do you get out of it? It seems to be all techniques for male seduction of females.

I don't know which Google you're using, but this was from the first link to "human pheremones": Some researchers believe that there is a relationship between physical attractiveness and body odor. In a study to test this hypothesis, 16 males and 19 females were asked to wear a t-shirt on three consecutive nights without using any perfumes or deodorants. Fifteen more subjects each smelled a t-shirt of the opposite sex, rating its scent on pleasantness and sexiness. Another group of 22 men and wom…

Well, you could always be somewhat direct, combined with mindsink's suggestion: "Hey--so what happened on Saturday? That was a dick move to not even call. But no worries, I went out with my friends and we danced till dawn," etc. Put her on the spot, then erase it. She'll get the idea that it was a no-no, but not the pleasure of knowing you spent your energy worrying about it.

Except for when you said "it's somewhat fun to play with her emotions." I think you should be somewhat honest and (ditto, darkhorn) actually apologize for leading her on. That, combined with the "I'm just not looking for a girlfriend right now." should be a good balance between being respectful of her feelings and being a man about the truth of the matter.

during this time, i was on a david deangelo mailing list, but didnt really believe anything he said. one day while at a show with friends, i tried one of the lines i got in this e-mail (now i just make my own material and use inner game.) on a girl and it had the exact reaction he said would come. What was the line?
