36% masculine and 61% feminine. Definitely scored high on the fem side due to being strongly introverted, shy and I happen to love kids! Otherwise I can be quite analytical and to the point, which I guess are considered to be more masculine traits. Thanks for linking the quiz!

It's lovely to receive recognition for things like this from the man we love. It proves they do notice :) I personally don't wear a lot of makeup unless there's an occasion, but I do like to keep my nails painted and looking pretty. I was in the car with my SO one day and he said I like the colour of your nails (cherry red), I like that you paint them for me :)

I love men, think they're awesome. Well we'll have to agree to disagree here. Men's preference on hair could be a cultural thing? Peace.

I wouldn't say your opinion is unpopular, in fact i don't believe you stated an opinion on the topic? This is a forum after all feel free to share. All you stated is that you think the way the majority of men think (on this topic) is fucked up. What, to you, is the correct way that men should approach the subject? Genuinely interested to know now.

Yeah, I said the majority of men haha. Yes Taz I must be fucked up because my opinion is different to yours, how silly of me to think for myself!

I never said it was my way of thinking, its just the truth and how most men feel. I couldn't care less what a woman does to her hair in all honesty- my main issue with pretty much all of life is that people want the right to do what they want without suffering any consequences. In some ways, I think about cutting my hair short to save time and fuss on it. However, I know that keeping my hair long makes me look more attractive to my SO and it makes me happy to know he thinks I am pretty. He lifts…

One of my unpopular opinions is that the reason so many of our elderly people are rotting in horrible care homes is because feminism have brought women out of home and away from their duty of care to their families. I work in the elderly care sector and it really is in a complete state simply due to the fact old peoppe are getting zero support and attention from their families- its so sad. I could go on but I won't...

I think marrying a person from a different culture runs more risk personally. The ethicity of a person and their culture are linked ofc. My SO is mixed race- but we are culturally exactly the same (British) so have no real problems.

I agree hate is a strong word but long hair is a very big deal to the majority of men. The issue is that a man has married the girl based on her attractiveness and virtues and after the wedding she goes and hacks off a large part of her attractiveness once she's "sealed the deal".

It feels so therapeutic coming on here and discussing these topics- I'd be berated for my opinions by family/friends/coworkers even if presented with rational argument... Good to get it out of your system with like minded people :)

I love shooting guns too! I'm in the UK but if I ever lived in America I'd conceal carry too. Very worried for Americans that their government seems so set on taking their guns away...

Does anyone get like, packing anxiety because of things like this? I travel a lot and sometimes forgetting one little thing can have big impact like OP. Glad you thought to call local Dr am3lia, crisis diverted!

I agree with chairman_mau5, definitely have the conversation about what contact you will realistically have before he leaves. If expectations are clear, it will save you a world of worry if he doesnt message you as much as you expected. I'm probably not alone in saying my hamster can get a bit out of hand when I start worrying and 99% of the time its all unnecessary. Good luck!

Made me laugh! The double standard is ridiculous, I can imagine how I'd feel if my SO was even texting his ex, let alone flying off to meet her for a "trip".

Hi guys :) Something good you did for SO/family: I'm currently single but this week I baked a huge birthday cake for my Grandad's birthday. My family were very impressed and we all enjoyed eating it! It makes me happy that I was able to make something that made my Grandad feel special on his birthday. We also had a great chat along with my Grandma about the key to their 55 year marriage- which ofc echoed the sentiments here :) A special moment: This week I hit my weight goal! I finally feel like…

I second this, if you wouldn't mind sharing some tips for whittling down your waist I'd really appreciate it! I'm aiming to make this summer the first for showing off a bit of midriff :)

I found this very interesting as someone who is currently trying out online dating. It's so difficult to know how to pitch yourself.
