I dunno about that one. In my experience, you want a good lawyer that doesn't know the lawyers and judges. Reason I say that is because if they all know each other, past experiences and interactions can leak into your case. My first lawyer was a regular at the courthouse I had to be in, and I got screwed by the judge because the judge was pissed at the lawyer over a previous matter that had nothing to do with me. Many jurisdictions (mine included) have passed laws that whenever a call is made in regards to DV, they MUST arrest someone. Like there's no officer discretion. It's not necessarily about them doing their jobs.

If a crime is made by white man news will say: white man robbed/ killed/ etc. If it was a coloured man, you will read/ hear: "a person robbed/ killed/...". I work at a liberal university in the security department. This is 100% accurate. If the suspect is white, it will be mention that he's white on the Security Bulletins. Anyone else and the ethnicity is left out.

The even more fucked up part about Canadian family law, is a woman can go after you for support for your STEP children. IE) bio dad isn't paying support, you and your wife divorce, and you're now on the hook for supporting a kid that isn't yours.

There's also the fact that officers are subject to a LOT of sensitive information that would be breaking tons of privacy laws if released (drivers licenses, passports, etc) Then there's the data storage cost, which is astronomical. That being said, I'm fully supportive of cameras being turned on when an officer is dispatched or before initiating contact, but I don't support of the camera being on the entire shift or having footage being released.

Ya, it's completely assinine. None of the dispensaries that I have used previously accept credit cards. When I did some digging, I found out that it's because it's illegal in the states and the credit card companies are American, so the US govt would basically look at it as violating US law and nail em under that, even though I'm Canadian, buying from a Canadian company and the product doesn't even go through the US. I hate the US most of the time.

I think you need to fight fire with fire. I'm not sure where OP is from, but where I am (Canada), it's 100% legal to use a washroom of the opposite gender as long as you're using the space for what it was intended for. And if anyone says anything, tell em to pound sand. And if they really want to push the issue, you tell them that you're using the washroom of the gender you identify as. If they're smart, they won't touch thay with a 10ft pole.
