You sound like a real winner. Hit on all the girls. They won't be able to resist.

I feel like a third of the conversation is you trying to get her to come over for cake. She said no like 4 times and you kept pushing. It came off as desperate.

Good. I just know wwaayyyyyyyy too many people in the military who got married way too soon just for the benefits of being married in the military. So any time anyone says they met someone in the military, my knee jerk reaction is to warn them not to get married.

Don't be like every other Army idiot and get married way too early and to the wrong person just so you can live off base.

It's not that at all. Relax. I don't think I will be able to convince you that it is an asshole thing to say, and I don't think you will be able to convince me that it's not. So why bother to argue? But if you insist... Saying "let's go to my place to watch a movie" is so clearly a line. "I'm not looking to date anyone, but who knows, maybe if the right girl came along" is not clearly a line. But it's more than that - One is playing on a physical activity. She might trick herself into thinking i…

That way she can delude herself into thinking she could be the right one, and will sleep with you, while you retain your excuse to not take it any further than that. Because you are intentionally being misleading. You aren't telling her that because you are trying to be open and honest. You are saying it to mislead her. And yes yes seduction blah blah sex blah. I just think you can be seductive without being misleading.

The thing is, women already think they can turn a casual hook up into a relationship. They don't need you to add to that hope. If you really might end up dating her, then great. But if you are going to move on in a few weeks, then why add to her pain and potentially add crazy drama. Similarly you dont want to say "I will never date you" If you are a virgin, you wouldn't tell the girl you are. You also wouldn't lie and say "I've slept with countless girls." She already has a preconceived notion o…

Saying "maybe if the right person came along" just to get her to sleep with you is a dick move

Being a fucking pussy and being a total asshole are not your only choices in life.

Or you could just be honest and not an asshole.

It's not necessarily, creepy. But it is really weird. If a guy did that to me, I'd be really really puzzled. Honestly, I'd probably assume he was OCd or something and HAD to know where he knew me from (like when you recognize an actor in a movie and simply must remember what other movie you know them from). Because why else would he approach me, but then not introduce himself.

Can I get a girlfriend while being nice and friendly? Yes. Be better looking.

According to him. For all we know he was creepily staring and he just thinks it wasn't creepy.

I'm a girl, actually, and if a guy did that to me at the gym, I'd be creeped out. Even if I had been eyeing him earlier. It's just creepy to straight up ask out a girl at the gym without any prior conversation.

So you stared at her without saying saying anything for half an hour, then cornered her while she was getting her stuff and creepily asked her out. Gee, I wonder why she doesn't want to date you.

Just because I assume a guy is trying to get into my pants doesn't mean I won't talk to him. As I said in my first comment, how I react depends on his appearance and demeanor.

If a guy approaches me totally randomly when I'm hanging around campus or whatever, then I assume he's just talking to me because of the way I look. How would he have any idea that he wants to be in a relationship with me when he doesn't even know me? Every guy I've dated I've met either through friends or doing an activity we both independently enjoyed.

I am a girl and whenever a guy just randomly approaches me (for a reason other than something like asking directions), I assume he wants to fuck me. How I react depends on his appearance and demeanor. But I assume all men who talk to me are just trying to get in my pants.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
