felt badly for the train supervisors having to deal with her asshole subordinate yeah this too, supervisor was trying so hard to help and staff lady kept patronizing her for it, acting like the supervisor was the one being childish

wow the train staff supervisor really has her shit together, she's telling both sides what they need to hear to de-escalate the situation. she's the kind of person to keep around.

Everything you just said supports my argument, are you having a stroke?

She was resisting before they touched her. Did you not notice her backing away, trying to pull her arms back? That's resisting, regardless of if she continued to fight once they had hands on her (which it's pretty clear she was doing, but harder to argue against someone who's already made up their mind)

So then your only objection is subjective? Just because you feel it's unfair doesn't make it so. She was presented with two options clearly and repeatedly. She thought she could loophole her way into a third option, but that wasn't the case. The consequence for not complying was arrest. Had she not physically resisted (i certainly hope you won't argue she didn't), the cops wouldn't have taken her to the ground -- otherwise they would've ordered her to lay down before going hands-on. The conseque…

but you do have the right to remain silent and not answer questions. Right, and police have the right to detain you until they confirm your identity, and the right to arrest someone interfering with that investigation. Similarly, I have the right to pursuit of happiness. If my pursuit of happiness includes criminal acts, however, I am fully responsible for the fallout of exercising my rights. Rights don't absolve you of consequences. Only children think that, which makes it funny that you're acc…

when Kong Zi made that quote Wow, you really thought that was clever, huh? Would it interest you to know that "Confucius" is the westernized version of "Kong Zi"? Maybe if you read something about him (other than the hasty google search result your bluff came from) you'd have a better understanding of why I chose that quote, because yes, you're reading it totally wrong. It'd probably help you deal with how embarrassing your position looks right now (and that seething anger you're displaying)

because most of us are too busy "internalizing" these affronts Poor reading comprehension, the main message of my comment is not to internalize these trespasses. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing This is a popular but dumb stance. Oversimplify everything into with me/against me, good/evil, just like the guys you're opposing. A ridiculous positive feedback loop. btw my quote is Confucius since we're now namedropping for clout (another dumb thing to do)…

Stop caring what they think. Derive your self-worth internally. To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.

I did what any new mom would do I also hate this turn of phrase, it's like one-stop gaslighting. Turns it from "we're having a disagreement" to "something is fundamentally wrong with you for disagreeing with me, and everyone can see it but you"

Obviously there are multiple interpretations to every situation Things people say are implicitly their own opinion. My comment represents mine, not a statement of exclusive, universal truth

Intermittent fasting does reduce intake, it's just a model that's easy for people to follow. Basically just cut out certain meals and don't make up for it with others

I’m surprised someone browsing a subreddit names PussyPassDenied would be disappointed by my use of the word feminist to depict a woman who behaves how she does. Yeah you were dealing with a crusader, most definitely the blue-haired portland type you described lol. They came here to be smug just like the lady in the vid, which is probably why they were bothered enough to comment on it.

She definitely is, but I hear this particular turn of phrase all the time. It's really dumb-sounding

are you joking me? This shit drives me fucking nuts. Why do so few people in the states have a grip on their own language? EDIT: lol guess people itt don't know the diff between "are you kidding me" and "are you joking"

It's terrifying how that information was suppressed, and how fat was demonized to cover it up, during the late 20th century. Honestly so many 'prevailing scientific opinions' have been driven by lobbyists and financial concern.

Intermittent fasting is probably the easiest and healthiest way to lose weight, imo, but I'm not a doctor or anything. It's literally the way wild-type homo sapiens ate, and it has so many under-advertised chemical benefits for the body that non-fasting approaches never get.

The officer tried to resolve the situation with words and she wouldn't let him, though

officers have no right to treat anyone this way Um, actually, they're among the few types of people who do could have easily restrained such a smaller person in a much safer manner Suggestions? Because I guess you know better than the experts who designed the procedure that he followed almost perfectly.

I think the point is that her career of late stands entirely on the shoulders of "woke" media agenda-pushing, specifically the "be flippant/rude, you go girl!" sentiment. She's got real writing chops but isn't a great actress, and she's popular because her work has been topical - again, specifically in depicting "pussy pass" scenarios.

From the bachelorette? What a prick, I usually don't get too into those shows (watch them w/gf, be both dick off on phone/laptop the whole time though) but I fucking loved the moment he got dumped. Just get in the car dude.

Just read one where a user is saying she's never comfortable reading in the tub, and how to fix that? She doesn't enjoy it but wants so badly to do this thing women think is cool and thoughtful. What a small world to live in.

Chiming in as someone who's used physical management at work - most restraint/safety training is VERY clear you never go hands-on if someone is pregnant. Its airtight about it and that's probably why there's serious action. Ive had coworkers put on leave for less. Even if someone were to claim they're pregnant out of the blue, that immediately means you don't apply any force. You can set a pick thats about it -- just to protect someone they might be trying to get at. And unless they're attacking…

Wildly misleading title, but this article is scary. 'But there are lots of worse, serial offenders' doesnt mitigate what a single-offender does Can you imagine if we applied this to a murder? "But there are serial killers, so obviously this person isnt dangerous to anyone" Obviously a false equivalency but it illustrates my point
/r/PussyPass03/07/18 09:18 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
