That's the issue, if it's clear she's interested, just walking away would make you feel like a total loser. Should be obvious she's not worth shit but leaving them to their happy ending wouldn't help my mental state after.

I didn't find out my best friend throughout highschool was gay till college when we got drunk and he asked me to try fucking his ass. After that is when I realized how many fucking times he sabotaged my chances with every girl I liked obnoxiously and loudly teasing me whenever we pass by them making it awkward before I even get to talk to them
