I saw this earlier and have been thinking about this, and I came back to Reddit specifically to tell you what I’ve come up with. Hopefully it helps. (Skip to *** if short on time lol) I have type 1 diabetes. I’m honestly not sure all that goes into Crohn’s, but I have a friend who I suspect has it, and I know it’s gotta be constant and also difficult. Unrelated, but I know a lot of people who are Native (not like “oh someone told me my great great great great grandmother was a Cherokee princess” but like actually Native) who don’t “look Native” so. There’s a good chance this is a white guy in a Native American headdress but there’s also a chance it’s actually part of his culture.

This, and also, “doesn’t really have any flaws, except...” makes me nervous because everyone has flaws!! I have a ton of them! My boyfriend has a ton of them! All my best friends have tons of them! These people are good to me and we look out for each other, but I’m not blind to their flaws or explaining them away. The biggest issues I’ve created for myself in terms of relationships is when I explain away every flaw/red flag when really, I should have kept my eyes open.
