I understand that. I just unfortunately was preyed upon by the .01%. I am definitely not a feminist, I am actually very conservative and appreciate men who protect and support their wives/girlfriends. I am just trying to heal and since I can't confront my abuser nor can I talk to men in person, I guess I was just looking for support and since I am new I thought this was the right place to get a mans view on the situation.

No. I was sincerely asking decent men how another man can do that. I was not insinuating that all men behave that way. And yes, I have been in therapy for many years.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
