Can you cite a source for that? In the US as the law is written the burden of proof is on the prosecutor to prove rape, not on the defendant to prove innocence. I absolutely don't deny that the bullshit you describe happens on college campuses because of Title 9 funding rules, but I'm not aware of that happening in an actual court and the law doesn't support it.

Don't date your coworkers. Seriously, most of them will be female, likely many will be pretty decent looking. The single ones will be interested unless you're a social reject. Don't do it. You will need them in your corner sooner or later and there's nothing like jealousy to make your day turn ugly when the inevitable issues crop up. Having said that, teachers from another district? Feel free. Teaching conferences will be your best friend.
