Oh hell yes! That part about self improvement is so true and totally relatable. I never dated or had a gf in high school even though several girls crushed on me. While everyone else was learning to date, I was working on myself, gaining strength physically and mentally, confronting my fears/issues, hitting the gym, eating right, and making goals. I graduated last year (still 18), came out more confident than I ever thought possible. It didn’t come easy, but man it’s so rewarding.

When you’re texting a girl, text with a purpose, which should be to arrange dates with her and check in periodically (if she’s out of town, has plans to do something, etc.). Save the intimate conversations for when you two are on a date. There are so many verbal cues and physical signs that can’t be communicated over text.
