My girlfriend got mad at me a couple years ago and smashed a wine glass on the kitchen floor. Not to be outdone and to show her that I didn’t care I grabbed a glass and smashed it on the floor as well. We went back and forth smashing every glass in the cabinet until it was empty and the floor was piled in broken glass. Somehow it was cathartic and actually made us feel better and ended up being amusing in the end. We’re married now and no longer smash glasses on the floor. At least not on purpos…

Well, I'm "white" and I can see the value in this life lesson. Granted, physical violence is not equivalent to verbal insults, and they're both deserving of their impending punishments, and I'm not necessarily condoning either actions, but that girl will never be so stupid or brazen enough to say something that offensive to someone's face ever again. I think the knuckle sandwiches had the desired effect.
