Dude they even tried to change the Spanish language. Idk who else needs to hear this but LatinX is not a word. Latinos HATE it. The entire Spanish language is based on gendered words. There’s also the fact that LatinX isn’t (for the most part) even pronounceable for an individual that can only speak Spanish! Getting offended on behalf of someone who is not even offended is,IMO, almost as bad as being an outspoken sexist. It requires an unbelievable amount of arrogance and self-centeredness.

No that’s not what I meant. I meant that he was imprisoned for 7 months while waiting for his trial. Meaning that legally, he didn’t serve any prison time. I’m not defending the woman or going against the man in question, so frankly I have no idea why ppl are taking issue with me.

I didn’t watch Captain Marvel b/c of the bad things I heard about it. But I did get a taste of the whole “girl power, yeah!!!” narrative. In Endgame where, (was it Black Widow?) a female character said “she’s not alone” and then showed all the women looking super heroic and beating up (presumably) male enemies... Omg, it took every once of my willpower to not roll my eyes.

That guy is a pretty well established actor now. Good on him. Also I’m pretty sure the show had to give him a public apology. They were supposed to complete a series of tasks while being distracted by the “bullies.” Although violence was never agreed upon. That’s why he lost his shit when she slapped him.
