You're correct. I did all of that and deserve the admonition for having done so. I've since edited all my comments so that people know I was in the wrong, and was acting like the biggest cunt in the world, even before I read this comment. I once again offer my sincere apology for having done so, and want you to know I am ashamed of my behavior. A punishment shouldn't be structured to make people feel good. There is something called the theory of proportionality in western judicial systems. Since rape doesn't carry with it a life sentence, then giving someone a life sentence for lying about it is not a proportional punishment. This is also why dismemberment isn't an acceptable punishment for theft. Giving her the same sentence he recieved, or one which is slightly more severe satisfies the theory of proportionality.

Condoms break and birth control isn't 100% effective. Abstinence is the only 100% effective method, but will never happen. Abstinence is 100% at odds with the biology of humans.
