If you were divorced with no kids in your 40s and could live/work in any city in the US, where would you want to live (good dating scene for older men, lots to do, not depressing weather, easy to meet people at an older age).Colorado. Plenty of places to get out into nature. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/05/23 10:04 PM
Women who lurk in the Men's Divorce subreddit, why are you here?I m dating a divorced man with two kids. It gives me a male’s perspective and has honestly helped with seeing his side of things. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/01/23 02:25 AM
Looking for any tips?Thank you for all your advice. I truly appreciate it. I’ll just go slow and take it easy. Hope you are doing well now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/06/18 04:25 PM
Looking for any tips?Thank you for all your advice and I’m glad you turned everything around. I know she will interfere. I actually have no doubt about it. But, I’m prepared for that. I’m used to dealing with difficult people so I’m not too worried. I completely agree with you though. Definitely need to set boundaries with her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/06/18 02:02 PM
Looking for any tips?I’m sorry you went through all of that. Depression is scary because it can get a grip on you. He is trying so hard and his kids mean everything to him. He is texting and calling me more about things and I want him to know that I’m there. Even if this doesn’t work out, I’ll always be friends with him. He is open to doing some small things so hopefully I can get him out of the house. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/06/18 01:47 PM
Looking for any tips?Aww! That’s terrible! I don’t understand how you could do that to someone you have kids with. I, personally think she is trying to make him jealous and wants him back. He isn’t without his faults, but I also know he is a genuine guy. I think if his ex found out about me, she would be extremely threatened and try to get between us. I have absolutely no doubt. But, I also have thick skin and I’m not worried about her. I see her for what she is and so does everyone else. He is insecure at times and… | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/06/18 03:37 AM
Looking for any tips?I completely agree. I feel we communicate really well. I do think he really is establishing boundaries with her. He is learning to just walk away from her instead of fighting and arguing. I’m honestly not trying to get involved in their relationship with the kids. I haven’t met them and I don’t plan on it anytime soon. He said he is afraid of getting into a relationship with me and me realizing that her drama is too much and walk. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/18 01:36 PM
Looking for any tips?No need to be sorry. It was definitely a thought to me. No, she really is inappropriate and I believe it. The reason is that we found out accidentally that my friend is good friends with him. Their kids are in class together. About a month ago, my friend was going off about this crazy mom and how inappropriate she is. She didn’t know we were seeing each other until last week and she was talking about his ex. I didn’t know this friend even knew him. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/18 12:00 PM
Looking for any tips? Thanks! He is definitely better with his ex at establishing boundaries. She will ask him to lunch or to go to kid’s activities together and he will decline and walk away. He even talked about moving farther away from her, but he took a hit on the house when he bought her out. I don’t know if he is trying to establish some boundaries with me or not. We are pretty honest with each other so I will bring it up. He said that after a night we went out, he got home and his phone was full of crazy texts… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/06/18 11:54 AM
