20	How frustrating can Pickmes be .... You just described my sister. She was always looking down on me because SHE had the boyfriend and SHE had the experience while I was mostly single. Now I’ve been married for ten years and have a beautiful family of my own. I want the same for her (she wants this as well) but refuses to see how her actions and beliefs are only hurting her and keeping her from what she wants. A woman’s career is over once she is married and has children. I only mention this because of the women you mention in your post who are seen as “done for” with their careers. A career is like a man in the sense of if you can’t progress for any reason, you need to find a new career. This comes from experience. I was stuck in a job (LVJ? :-) )after having children.
