I’ve known this for years. People also don’t realize a lot black female slaves also married slave masters. Black women also owned slaves during slavery as well. There’s even a book called “Daughter’s of the Trade.”The book literally describes how black women played a huge role in the creation of the African slave trade as a whole by marrying the first Dutchmen that came into Africa.
