As far as isolating one person goes, I would approach someone who is already alone. Someone obviously browsing in a store, someone sitting on a park bench, etc. Of course I would make sure they knew I was present, whether I've acknowledged them already or not, so as not to surprise them. 2	Thoughts on this opener/routine? I've never understood why it is when someone responds to a comment and defends their original statement with further evidence or explanation, they are considered hard headed or stubborn. This is a discussion board. Discussions last more than one question, one answer. Hence, the following: Your routine doesn't account for her having much of an interaction, you talk a lot and don't build any rapport... Or for that matter anything. 3	Thoughts on this opener/routine? This is way too complex for an opener. Hmm, maybe the post is complex, but I disagree that the routine is. Approach/setup, joke, respond, close. 1	Any other Baltimore area Sedditors? I too recently started, but like many others, I've become fascinated. I live near Towson, so I will begin by doing most of my fieldwork there. Once that gets stale (which I'd imagine will take a while with school getting ready to start back up), I'll branch out to Fell's, Fed Hill, and especially Hampden.
