Actually, infant/minor circumcision is done for the benefit of the boy. As per AAP (and most medical orgs worldwide), parents should research medical benefits & risks and make an informed decision for their son.

It may be considered wrong if you have a conscientious objection to the procedure. What do you think about circumcisions? Is there a religious (or non) that would stop you from performing circumcisions? If you do have an objection regarding circumcision you should bring it up with residency adviser and/or school administration.
