I never said you wouldn't be foolish for knowingly making yourself an easy target for theft. I was talking purely about fault. Theft shouldn't happen. So when it does, we can't blame victim. You say that to say the victim has no part in a theft is ridiculous, but it's really not that ridiculous if you start applying this concept to things other than theft. Just because crime is a part of society does not mean crime is ok. If crime is ok then it would have a different meaning. Now, I'm not saying that people shouldn't try and prevent crime, but I am saying that it is never their fault no matter how poorly they did trying to prevent it. For example, I wouldn't drive to the center of Compton and get out of my car, leaving it running with the keys in it, and come back an hour later and act surprised it was stolen. 12	So I am writing a paper on Gender Inequality in Schools... I would say, just give it as both sides of the story. Women face inequality in, probably, more places than men and usually for the same reasons.
