It matters for myriad reasons, but perhaps even on a very basic level, how the "left" and the "right", view mens rights, and formulate solutions or policy around solving these issues is important. Also, perhaps people can separate good takes from bad, but they may not want to be subjected to them. I don't think that's what they said at all. This seems... unrealistic. There is a strong conservative membership in this subreddit, and I would argue that people in this subreddit often position "mens rights" in opposition to feminism, and at times women as a whole, or at the very least, anti-anti-male. This is something I've heard a lot, and I think there's a misinterpretation of what I've said here. There is a way to do this, but it requires a bit of compartmentalizing. Raising something like this shouldn't be done when she's emotionally heightened.
