I would have given him 2 options: 1. Lay on the ground, put his hands behind his back and I’m going to football punt him in the ribs 2. Press charges I would let him pick which one he preferred

First and foremost, I just want to say thank you for legit looking that up. I really appreciate that. So it looks like they choose these based on the number of accidents instead of the total per mile driven. So in a way they are right, but wrong at the same time. I’m still just in aw you took the time to do that dude, if I had gold I would give it to you.

Honest question is there research showing that men get in more accidents/make more claims about their cars than women? I’m just trying to understand why men have to pay more, I refuse to believe insurance companies can just be like “um cause you are a guy” and it’s that simple. At least I hope not.

I understand the question. Like I said that isn't worth seeing a kid die. They are both shitty outcomes, one is just a hint less horrible.

Honestly dude, I would rather be called a child molester than watch a kid get crushed to death by a machine. Jesus man, really wasn't trying to get that deep today...

Hey man, in that case good for you. Even though she got mad the kid didn't get hurt and that's what matters. In my situation I was just happy she found her dad without any issue. The mom saw the girl and picked her up right away with a hug and found her parents. So the kid got to feel safe. Thats what really matters in the end.

This reminds me of a time I was at a music festival in sf at treasure island. Very diverse crowd and a lot of kids. I noticed a little girl maybe 4-5 walking around who looked confused. She didn't look scared or anything, but could tell she couldn't find her parents. I wanted to walk up to her and help, but realized if a dad saw me holding her daughters hand when he couldn't find her that would NOT go well. So I made sure I payed attention to her until she wandered over to a married couple sitti…

To be fair I don't think she can see the middle section that well with that lazy eye... lol

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
