6	If You Hate Online Dating, Delete Your Dating Apps This is especially true for those apps (e.g. Tinder) that minimize communication of personality to put gut-reactions based on appearances front and center. This style of "matching" only objectifies the user, and ensures that men don't have to waste their time reading something if all they want to do is hookup.
