I understand what you were saying, and I understand how voicing doubts results in an actual reciprocal value boost. But, what i meant was just your value in the eyes of anyone. these days the people that are 100% confident (or atleast don't voice those doubts) are the ones that the sheep will follow. edit: like for example, in the eyes of someone maybe not so bright, me consistently doubting myself would bring them to think that I am dumb (irony, I know)

ohhh ok. I misinterpreted what he meant by "self - doubts". However, voicing regular old doubts may make you seem less confident in the eyes of an unenlightened one (or maybe it would make you subconsciously seem less confident in the eyes of just anyone)
