Oh yes, I forgot. People in this community prefer to drink each other's cum after the circle jerk. My bad!

I thought it was feminists who are supposed to be the rude ones? Hey, maybe making sweeping generalizations isn't an effective way for judging the world or groups of people? Who could have known!

The problems you're talking about are likely related to the use of social media in some way, correct? Many various ideologies cause problems through social media. Examples should flood to mind. Maybe the problem is social media moreso than something so broad as 'feminism.'

Maybe try actually looking into feminism? Most are just normal people like anyone who want people to be kind to one another. Most aren't the hateful extremists they're portrayed to be.

My point is that threatening violence, even against this girl who is obviously a bitch, is never something you should do. It is ethically off limits to encourage violence against another person, no matter their sin.

His reply is worse than her OP. Jesus Christ. Do people here support that man's statement? What the fuck. Edit: shame on you.

Oh, that was a typo... as indicated by the entire rest of the comment and the one preceding it. Context clues, dude. Read. Jesus Christ

It depends on if you are willing to use a slur to demean people for caring about self-preservation. I don't agree with most things they say there, but am I required to? I relate to posts here, from /r/offmychest, from /r/LateStageCapitalism, from the radical-left subreddits, from /r/MensLib, /r/Politics, /r/policydebate from any ideological subreddit I encounter. They all have valid concerns and all presume too much. There is nothing wrong with not being set in your ways. If you must know, I am …

I didn't say anything otherwise, hence the word guise. Jesus Christ, the number of people who seem to have intentionally twisted my words is too damn high. People are so eager to be angry that they neglect to consider the very meaning of the words that I write. Ideologues frothing at the mouth in every corner, not that you necessarily are such a person. The history of feminism has been to bring equality. Mainstream trans-activist supposedly-intersectional feminism spouts insincere platitudes abo…

I didn't make a claim that they do. You mistake me. I said they claim they do. None of these movements follow through on their supposed idealism.

It's not under the guise of women's rights. It's under the guise of everyone's rights except for a few movements like /r/GenderCritical. That doesn't make those claims correct, but you are factually incorrect concerning mainstream feminism. Unfortunately, people in this sub generalize just as much as you all are generalized by certain movements. The world is not so simple, and the people here are often blinded by hate. There is room for compromise, and anyone who wants to make things better must…

I think it'll happen in the next couple decades, unless people like us can do what we can to heal it. The West is in critical danger.

Do what you need to do for you, I suppose. If that lack of forgiveness drives your beliefs though, there's likely a problem. Different people cope in different ways, but I don't see any problem and only benefits with forgiveness.

Any sub with any ideology IMO. Every single one fosters anger over positive action, or very nearly.

A good comment. I saw a great cheesy quote in a therapist's office, something along the lines of, "Being angry with your enemy is like drinking a poison and thinking they will die." Struck a cord with me. Glad you could let go. :)

I'm glad you've been able to move on, my friend. I takes a lot of "spine" to let go on move on after those kinds of injustices. Good on ya'

You don't forgive someone to make them feel better. You forgive someone so you can live in peace. You don't have to tell them. Def should have saved that message, but forgiveness is fine. There is no reason to live in rage. Anger is a poison.

Were you born wealthier than middle class, or did you claw your way up? I was wealthy as a small child, but became somewhat poor. Ended up an addict after an injury, etc. Clean for a year, I'm anxious to get ahead. I'm trapped by debt and stuck in a low wage job with almost the whole day being work or riding the bus. How can I get ahead? Can I invest small amounts? And subreddits that you think might genuinely help? Being poor is miserable. And no, I'm not asking for anything but advice.

Hey, I know that room! Been there before for a false-DUI, right after I'd gotten out of the hospital for surgery!
