who's not feeding them a bunch of meaningless crap, diversions, dismissals, and invalidation. To be fair, Tate and his ilk are also feeding them meaningless crap, it's just crap that they want to hear. Like... He may not be reinforcing their negative self esteem, but he sure as hell isn't turning them in to something healthy either.

Except for in cases of rape, or if you find out too late to get an abortion, or abortion is against your morality. But sure, pregnancy is always 100% under your control.

I don't think anyone should have to work two or more jobs just to improve their lot in life. The west prides itself on its egalitarian societies but it simply isn't always the case. And I suppose my point is that sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you work, sometimes the deck is simply too stacked against you and you're trapped in a never ending spiral.

You'd need far, far in excess of minimum wage to accrue the sort of savings according to your requirements. Being poor is expensive.

Because no one is capable of hiding who they truly are from someone.

Not wanting to be stigmatized for something outside of one's control is "entitlement" these days? TIL.

A lot of people in here downvoting without offering a rebuttal. Typical pathetic redditors.

So only the rich should be allowed to breed? You are aware of how elitist you're sounding right now, right? Instead of aiming towards a society wherein minimum wage is actually enough to live on, let alone raise a family on, no let's discriminate and judge people for not having the foresight to have been born in to wealth.

Ever heard of minimum wages? Poverty is expensive. And unless you manage to get a new job immediately (unlikely if you're pregnant, no one wants to hire pregnant women) that rainy day fund won't last very long. Three months? At most? How many people actually have three months worth of expenses on hand at any given time?

There are definitely undertones of hate towards single mothers in this thread.

marrying an abusive piece of shit is a bad life choice. So yes, she should have been a mind reader/clairvoyant? Because no one is capable of hiding who they truly are from someone.

I’ve grown up on council blocks most of my life. So have I, and I've seen plenty of people miserable with their lot in life but unable to do anything about it no matter how hard working they are because being in poverty is expensive. But many have managed it, myself included. Why? Because subsisting on welfare is miserable and barely living. So... I guess my anecdote cancels yours out?

For the vast majority of people it is just a safety net until they get back on their feet. For that tiny minority that are okay subsisting on welfare, I'd rather they slip through the cracks rather than restrict welfare from those who actually need it.

You're arguing awfully vociferously for someone who doesn't care if they're believed or not. But point taken, I'll refer you to my comment of "Yeah, just going to call bullshit on your original statement then" and move on. Bullshit. Good day.

Assuming the car was in her name or that she can drive. Look, all I'm saying is that hating someone for being a single mother doesn't make sense when there are plenty of explanations as to why she is single without it being her fault. Case in point, my own mother. She left her then-husband because he turned in to an abusive piece of shit. Was that her "life choices?" Was she supposed to be a mind reader/clairvoyant and see that he would turn in to a monster? Even if she was, she made one bad dec…

you ain't happy with it then that is on you, You don't really seem to grasp how evidence based opinions work, do you? It isn't whether or not I'm "happy," it's if you care if people believe you or not. You're the one that made the statements, you're the one linking to "sources." Your source is a pile of shite, something you yourself admitted. So... Either provide a better source or accept that no one is going to believe you. If you really don't care either way, then just drop it!
/r/PussyPassDenied24/04/21 09:19 AM

Yes, I expect you to provide evidence for your claims. Or am I just supposed to take your word for it? Because no one would ever lie on the internet to forward an agenda, right? You're amusing.

that isn't documented look it up yourself How can I look it up if it isn't documented? Can we just accept that you're talking bullshit and move on please? You're not the first and you won't be the last. grow the fuck up. lol I'm not the one trying to make a statement with zero credible evidence.

"I provided this piece of shit source and refuse to back it up with anything else." Yeah, just going to call bullshit on your original statement then. Onus of evidence is on you.

Because it doesn't jibe with this subs feelings of punishing women.

Not really, there are plenty of circumstances where she could end up as a single mother without it being her fault. Spouses death, for one example.

Then find another source if it was so well covered, don't expect people to take the daily fail at face value.

This just in, it's possible to lose your source of income through no fault of your own after getting pregnant.

£350 million a week to the NHS as a direct result of leaving the EU when?

No no master! I am eagerly awaiting to cram inferior quality American foodstuffs down my gullet, just as Dear Leader will decree.

I'd love to, but the report in to Russian interference has been suppressed by the government. Also, £350 million/week as a direct result of leaving the EU when?

Thats a barbaric and ancient system at best. Could you clarify what's so "barbaric" about it exactly? The British parliamentary constitutional monarchy is one of the most successful democracies in the world, and has inspired similar democracies everywhere. Just because it's ancient doesn't make it bad. Right well i couldn’t care less about the “queen” If your argument is that the Brits shouldn't have an inherited head of state, then fine but you realize that either means paying them off for all …

Not downvoting, just informing! Fun fact! While the crowns united in 1603, it wasn't until 1707 that the Kingdoms of England and Scotland united into the Kingdom of Great Britain.

Actually, the term "British subject" no longer legally applies. The British Nationality Act 1981 established everyone as a British citizen, British Dependent Territories citizen or British Overseas citizen.

Though the English Royals *British. There is no "English" royalty anymore, not since the crowns of England and Scotland united in 1603.

this sort of thing requires a more feminine touch. Wait, I'm confused... I thought the majority of women were against sterotyping? (I.e. "all nurses are female") I just hope she's just one bad nut...
