Buddy you keep putting in links to YouTube videos and I’m trying to be nice about it but holy moly, again, I can’t watch them rn. Also women have been purposefully excluded from institutions for centuries, no wonder men have won more of those types of competitions. Like if you put man against man, a man’s gonna win? Women are now allowed in the boys club, a woman just won the Nobel prize in literature or poetry or something, like that’s not the gotcha you think it is. This whole discussion I’ve …

Strength and brain makeup are different my friend. And I am debating in good faith! I’m excited to get the chance to see those videos and learn more! Thank you for speaking with me ◡̈

Hey man sometimes violence is necessary amiright
/r/MensRights12/10/24 11:43 PM

I’d like to start by fully and openly agreeing with you about the inaccessibility of resources for men facing real, horrific problems. Men are consistently raised and held to a standard that they cannot openly face difficulties, particularly in regards to emotional hardships, domestic violence, etc. This is a deeply troubling truth that must be addressed sincerely and changed as soon as yesterday. I believe this in my heart, as I’m sure you do. I do want to note, however, that feminism has been …

The mention of lesbian domestic violence comes from a study firstly proven false by those that looked at the conditions of the study, and also the actual data was misinterpreted intentionally to create a specific rhetoric against homosexuality. That being said, I cannot include it in a good faith discussion and will be disregarding it. And I’m not sure which definitions you’re referring to. My mention of women in construction was solely included to disregard the whole air conditioned building th…

I will watch them asap! If I find they grant me some understanding into your perspective, I’ll be sure to reach back out! Otherwise, from the other things you’ve mentioned I’m not confident this will be a legitimate discussion, as I’m thinking it moreso will continue to be you being reluctant to see another point of view. Thank you for the dialogue, I hope one day you will be able to find love and light in your heart that overcomes your hatred of women, god bless
/r/MensRights12/10/24 11:18 PM

Family courts don’t go easier on women though? What kinds of things or rulings are you pulling that from?

Okay! Could you give me examples of how women benefit from patriarchy?
/r/MensRights12/10/24 11:05 PM

Real quick, the idea that men and women are wired differently isn’t based in merit. They’re raised differently, yes, but that doesn’t mean they’re wired differently. Women led and run societies are, however, incredibly successful for both women and men in those societies. This is a fact. After the DEI comment though I’m wondering if you’re coming from a place of inherently valuing specific types of people over others. If so, I’m not sure we’d be able to find true common ground, as I am someone w…

Do we think google is specifically giving different results because of the political climate, or do we think we should work on our ability to do research? Checking sources and examine studies isn’t rigorous, it’s imperative to finding factual and unbiased information. Also, no, the clear cut indisputable data does not always change things. Climate change, for example. I could see the false conviction argument if it’s brought up in the face of white supremacy, if it’s brought up in the face of ge…

Ope just responded to another of your comments before seeing this one, sorry I missed it! This does bring up kind of the same point I was making earlier, the women critiquing these societies are members of these societies, so do we have conclusive evidence of women critiquing a society or system that’s completely different from the ones we’re talking about? If not, then I don’t think it’s fair to make an assumption like this. If there’s no opportunity to behave differently, how can we say the be…

Okay so what I’m getting from this is you’re placing the success of a society on its ability to create and maintain a powerful army. Is that a fair conclusion to be drawing? Also for your second comment just beneath this one you’ve linked another video (again thank you for providing resources) that I will watch and get to as soon as I can!

The point you’re making about white women being about 11x less likely (or at least that’s what I think you mean, >11 means greater than 11 so if that’s what you’re going for then I’m sorry for miswording this) is actually based in white supremacy, not in gender discrimination. That’s a whole other can of worms. That aside, the rest of your argument, while I’m sure you really do believe this, has no data to back it up. Belief is one thing, data is another.
/r/MensRights12/10/24 10:42 PM

Thank you for providing resources I can use to understand you! I’ll have to watch the video later as I’m not in a spot to actively pay attention to it quite yet, and I might be able to read the book sometime soon (in the thick of midterms lol)! I do have a quick question though, there’s a quote (forgive me I can’t remember where it’s from) that discusses something about how those being forced to live in a particular type of society are not traitors to their belief that it should be changed, but …

Super interested in your perspective here! What kind of things would you consider to be “toxic femininity”?

Your whole mention of toxic masculinity having fuck all to do with masculinity and how it was “decided upon by a bunch of women” that’s all. It’s funny to me, it’s embarrassing for you, ce la vie or whatever the kids say

“If the genders were reversed” they are. In real life. In real life they are. Words are not the same as action, saying you hate men is not the same thing as committing violent acts against women. Duh. DUH.
/r/MensRights12/10/24 09:26 PM

The government was set up by men for men, and has acted that way since its conception. Just bc some woman was mean to you online doesn’t mean your rights got stripped you insufferable weirdo

Weird. I wonder if it has anything to do with studies showing women suffer more when they’re married with kids, whilst men benefit from marriage and kids.

Absolutely not true though. I’m sorry that happened to you, if the people in your life don’t take it seriously and you have them in your life still, I explore you to surround yourself with people that actually care about you. You deserve to be surrounded with love.

When have you ever protected women? And from whom? Quickly. This is an ideal created by men goofy Also created by men, and women have been actively trying to undo this for centuries. Go to therapy, stop blaming women Women provide for themselves now more than ever. Men don’t like that. Pick a side

Men have always had exclusionary spaces, they’ve imposed themselves on spaces created to exclude them in order to maintain a safe environment, and now they want to bitch about all of it. L-7 weenies if you ask me
/r/MensRights12/10/24 09:05 PM

I think the key thing here for me is you’re using data based on our current society to say that men and women mature at different rates. Correct me if I’m wrong! You’ve noted that a boy is “competent enough to go through difficult situations” and a girl “is more sensitive and breaks down easily”, but that idea comes from the way we raise children in our society. This is a men’s issue, so lock in. Raising boys to believe that showing any emotion besides happiness and anger is incredibly damaging.…

“Emotional control” and “understand consequences” have never been qualities men possess. Keep trying though, I’m sure you’ll make a decent argument some time eventually lmfao

Hey! These aren’t the same thing, that’s why that analogy doesn’t make sense. Hope this helps <3

Are you talking about the draft? The draft that hasn’t been enacted since 1973? That law? The law that says men have to sign up for the draft that hasn’t been in effect since 1973? Tell me I’m wrong please please please

So maturity doesn’t have anything to do with physical capabilities (never has) and that doesn’t mean it’s biased towards women. Hope this helps!
/r/MensRights12/10/24 08:43 PM

Nah, it’s actually probably higher than 1 in 4, and that’s understood by pretty much everyone that’s able to connect two dots. If you wanna keep spreading misinformation that’s your prerogative, but I just want you to know your lack of understanding of something so simple makes you look really silly <3
/r/MensRights12/10/24 08:41 PM

So close! A lot of it actually comes from the fact that men don’t view women as human beings, and instead view them as objects that can increase their societal value in the eyes of other men. Keep researching and educating yourself though, I believe you’ll understand soon!!
/r/MensRights12/10/24 08:39 PM

“I can’t imagine them filming scenes in that short with the genders reversed” almost like you don’t have to imagine lmao art is used a means of expressing oneself and commenting on one’s society as a whole. The vast majority of violent crimes victimizing women are committed by men, in real life. In real life, not in make believe land. End of story. Don’t like it? Maybe try to do something about it instead of complaining about women finding catharsis in (again) make believe land
/r/MensRights12/10/24 08:29 PM

Absolutely insane of you to say the scales of justice are tipped in favor of women. Just pathetic all around. If you want to help men, maybe invest your time in actually helping men, as opposed to whining about fantasies
/r/MensRights12/10/24 08:24 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
