1	Male Privilege According to 2018 estimates, women attempt suicide 1.5 times more often than men. The 80:20 ratio of “successful” suicide in men isn’t because more men attempt suicide than women, it’s because they choose methods that are more “successful” or more likely to result in a “successful” outcome.
