2	Research finds Tinder increased the incidences of sexual assaults, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and inequality in (male) dating outcomes but had little impact on long-term relationships or relationship quality. It's not going to be a wash as 80% of men are invisible/unsuccessful/swiped over as has been exhaustively documented. You can't have it be a pareto or even greater distribution and at the same time the equivalent of a 50/50 washout. The cope/hype factor you describe is real but gets weaker by the year as the reality has become more apparent.
