That part is never really defined well. Does equal or lesser force refer to Newtons? It has more to do with how the attack is performed as well as the damage it causes. That's not the same. If it would say "I was going to buy you a sex toy but you already have a girlfriend" then it would be the same. If the gender roles would be reversed, there would be as many butthurt women as there are now men.

I would want to call myself a feminist too. And I kind of wish that the man-hating part of feminism is just the loud few and the quiet majority believes in actual equality. But it's hard to believe that after reading /r/feminism every now and then. Then again, reading /r/mensrights gives the same kind of facepalming feelings ever so often :p

There is a lot of hivemind mentality. I read 2x, a lot of feminism and fempire subreddits and they all have the same thing. There is some intelligent discussion, but a whole lot of crying how men/women have it so good and "we" have it so poor, blaming the other gender and acting like a dramaqueen (dramaking?) /r/mensrights is for equal rights for men and only men. I recommend subscribing to /r/feminism as well as /r/feminisms to get another perspective and more "both sides" view. /r/feminism is more of women's rights than actual feminism (which is supposed to be for equal rights for all) and in both subreddits (here and feminism) there are a lot of grown-up people crying and acting like little children as well as some good and interesting chatter. I read /r/feminism a lot and I /facepalm a lot there because there are so many threads that are like "I hate that I'm a woman and have to pay so much mortgage" - then when someone points out that men have to pay mortgage too and it's doesn't have anything to do with gender, they downvote and shout how MRAs have come to destroy conversation and misogyny and whatnot.
