I don't necessarily agree that "we should never marry a woman", however, this sub is so awesome because we don't shit on each other's opinions. A place on the internet when guys can still be guys without dealing with all the feminism bullshit that has seeped into most of the internet.

Damn, I don't even know what I would do if that happened to me. WTF?! I usually hold the door open for anyone close when I'm entering somewhere. So far I haven't been spat at, but if I were I might be tempted to go through the door first and hold it so they couldn't open it!

I'm 48 and play on a PS4. I skipped gaming for a long time but when my boys got old enough to start playing I got back into it. The best part is that unlike when I was a kid, I can buy whatever game/system I want to play! Have fun man!

Awesome! I've been a financial advisor for over 25 years and about 12 years ago left the Wall Street firm I worked for and opened my own firm. I'm now at the point where I only really personally work with about 6 clients. In the past 6 months I've taken a much more passive role in my firm and am currently entertaining an offer to buy me out. Anyway, I've kinda been where you are now and all I can say is that if you can do it, do it! Enjoy your life!

I didn't have a daughter (two boys), but it's more about parenting than anything else. If you are a half-assed parent, then TV, friends and social media will raise them, and they'll end up being exactly what those things tell them they are. We just have to keep them close and raise them right.

Getting validation from women I feel that. I did that for a long time. What's interesting is that when you are able to remove that, it seems you become more attractive to women. It's a confidence thing I suppose. At this point in my life I'm single by choice and it's mostly because I don't want to have to give up any of my time, I'm enjoying it too much. Glad to hear things are going your way man!

I've been through something similar (15 years ago). I wish I had known about this sub back then. The court system is set up to favor women, in terms of divorce. It's really shitty. I hope things are going your way man!
