I’m a very progressive person, but I wish my parents had married. I don’t think I qualify for Finnish citizenship now because my father wasn’t married to my mother at the time I was born. I’ve scoured the laws and as progressive as Finland is, out of wedlock children like me are screwed if you’re born prior to 2003.

I’m a Zillennial/Gen Z girl who was skeptical of dating apps & never tried one until not long ago. Some of my friends met their spouses/fiancés/partners through Hinge so they were pushing me to try it. I thought it was dumb for 3 months. Nope. My mom would’ve never had to endure the physical and mental abuse my father put her through for decades (even when she escaped him, he abused her through family court/custody/violence toward my stepdad & us kids, like DV & kidnapping). She wouldn’t have chose him if she could’ve just looked him up in 1989. And now he’s alone as he should be because even his other ex-wife couldn’t deal with it after only 2 years. Now he’s been single for a decade. No woman deserves to deal with his narcissi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
