no, where do you see any abbreviations? Every letter stands for something, most of those letters form words when put together and that's an....acronym! "An acronym is a word or name formed as an abbreviation from the initial components in a phrase or a word, usually individual letters (as in NATO or laser) and sometimes syllables". I made some great friends in the Canadian Army, they came down to where I was stationed for some sort of training so I'd see them out at night at one of the local bars. They were there for 6 months and I met them when they first go there so by the time they left they were all like family.

ha, funny thing is i have, multiple times. Again, you're not prior-military, you must have never been near a group of women for long periods of time. I've had multiple female soldiers drop out of ruck marches because they're on their period. Sometimes, in your case, it's better to leave your mouth shut when you're clueless. I'm prejudiced against women? Oh, because they can't hold the same level of physical training as a man and it's been proved time and time again. They proved in my unit to be the weakest link which caused morale to drop. Yes, women (in my opinion) shouldn't be in combat MOS' if they can't do what the men can do. Also, i'm so glad i can offend someone on reddit.

All the Brits I dealt with just sat in Kuwait and never left the FOB. I never dealt with any that actually did anything so I can't say I've seen any that impressed me. Also, now you see our military, we have all the money in the world to train our troops but majority who joined in the last 10 years (so most E5 and under) all joined because of the shit economy or for legal reasons.

no, age range is huge in the military so i had friends that were 18 and friends that were in their 50's. When you're in the most stressful job in the world it's hard to not call those immediately around you "family" anyway, they were no longer friends. But anyone outside of that group was hard to get along with. When I was in the military it just made me hate most soldiers because the military doesn't exactly attract the best of people.

to an extent yes. I loved meeting all the new people whenever I PCS'd but I made E4 in under 18 months at my first duty station so I always had soldiers under me at every station I had after that. I liked most of my soldiers but the bad ones really ruined it for me. My unit at Ft. Carson had a shitty chain of command (like most others, i know) but whenever a soldier wouldn't listen to me no one in my chain of command short of our Platoon Sergeant would ever back me up so I lost a lot of respect …

we learned pugils not for bayonet training but in case you ever had to use your rifle as a whole as a weapon. We never even learned how to jab with it as if it were a bayonet because i think that just comes naturally, we learned how to rifle butt.

I've been racing motocross since 1989 and got my pro license at 16 in 2001, i can for sure do this course easily...not as easy as Destry Abbott or Mike Brown who are both AMA champions but that course isn't hard, the women just can't ride as good as men...simple as that. edit: since I already got downvotes, go watch one of the fastest women in motocross Vicki Golden race the SX season finale in Las Vegas last year.
