Take some time to process this brother. Don't push away any emotions. Feel all of them, journal, talk to friends and definitely find a therapist to talk to. Learn about the emotional freedom technique (tapping) Spend time in nature Drink plenty water Go work out Get plenty sleep Give yourself a minimum 6 months to a year without dating and get your self in order. Universe works in interesting ways and everything will be ok. As for right now, it sucks. Do what ever you need to feel even 1% better…

Do not recommend paying for sex. I had faith in OPs advice till I saw this recommendation, get a massage if you need to destress but don't pay to fuck. It's a slippery slope. Now I am wondering how valid this general post advice is. I agree we need time for ourselves but there's a lot of grey everyone needs to listen to their own consciousness and navigate through

Thank you for this post. This seems like good advice and I am in this exact cross roads right now. Wondering whether to tell the woman I am texting now about the divorce filing before our first date.

You belong right where you are brother. Learn to love and own your space. You are not an accident.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
