Shout out to “This Podcast Will Kill You”, as an entire podcast run by two educated women who talk about diseases and enthusiastically encourage each other through the process

I put it in the same category of asking that a partner does not gamble or excessively party/drink.

I’ve had men tell me that my distancing from them or saying I don’t want to talk anymore is abusive and hurtful. Like pal, I’m literally gracefully bowing out, you should do the same. Men are terrified to be treated even one 16th as badly as women are

My guess is that with a trusted partner you can do it gently and nicely and respectfully. Where as most dudes try and emulate porn and just treat a mouth like a random hole

And then I hear what white men describe women of colour like and honestly, I’m so appalled any WoC has to deal with these fuckin scrote ass mother fuckers

Kinda hilarious when a lot of us can and choose to have sex when we want to. That’s the whole damn point

If you’re looking for online friends I’d say go for an FDS or similar discord, or consider other women’s online spaces. I can’t give outside covid advice because your country might be handling it differently to mine

As someone who actually enjoys a level of “femdom” I abhore so many of the men who keep wanting it. They act because they’re not being dominant, they can get away with being shitty people even more. I don’t even call it femdom, I just know what I like, and what do men do the moment they realise? Demand I do everything from directing conversations to ordering their food for them. Like fuck off bitch, I wanna ride your d and be done with you, stop acting like you deserve my attention and care when…

Also the only emotion they claim is shameful is something involving crying. When they fight or scream or argue or are jovial to the point of nusance, it’s alllllll ok

Having a HVM as a dad is honestly such a mental relief and I’m so privileged to have one. Back when I was younger he helped me buy cars and other such stuff, without ever making it demeaning on me. It was always discussed how and what I wanted, and he never interrupted me whenever we went in and talked to salesmen. His presence and encouragement was so good. The LVM salesmen HATED it with a passion. Date and marry HVM for the benefit of your children: they deserve a good father to help instil th…

Yep. This is why I posted this news article. A lot of people come here when they begin to get sick of OLD, so it’s good to give them the justification for their gut instinct of not liking it

Other fun things include: Tinder ignoring the needs of the customer service employees desperately trying to get through the sexual assault complaints Letting perpetrators delete evidence The swipe option is designed to be addictive Shit men can pay to be put at a higher priority than any others Allowing offenders to keep making new accounts after their bans The police were able to find a few of these serial offenders, so I fucking doubt a billion dollar company can’t make the effort to put the d…

Honestly at this point in her relationship id say this is emotional abuse. She may genuinely need that intervention from a social worker

Can there be a bit about dealing with male friends? Notably ones who demand much emotional attention and give none back, and also potentially dealing with issues of them getting too... clingy

It’s also weird when they call it “female incels” Male incels literally encourage suicidal thoughts and violence, to the point of literal real terrorism. FDS has entire threads encouraging and congratulating women on concentrating on their own self worth

This is like.... Ok genuinely, if you wanna wear a diaper, go ahead. But my god, a whole community to encourage it?? People bragging about it? Women are disparaged for wearing pads and scrotes are literally proud of shitting themselves. Why can’t they be like “hmmm I enjoy this thing I can do so privately and be ok with it”. It’s exhibitionism when you brag and display

I fully agree, but one thing I’ll note: if you have to laugh and smile to get out of a dangerous situation, that doesn’t make you any less of an independent and strong woman. It makes you a cunning master of survival in a world where I’ve seen men hit women for not responding well.

Dark jokes: issues of death and disability, personal issues, world issues, abstract notions of developing a new viewpoint towards a touchy issue Rape jokes: lmao wouldn’t it be funny if I could hurt someone and get away with it. When men make rape jokes they’re testing the waters to see what they can get away with

Wow ok so she’s a predator. Underage is still underage no matter the gender. Young men need space to grow. I’m a big believer in dating in your own age range as well. Being predated on by this type of woman is not good and will lead him to becoming a LVM

Agreed. If I can see a casual text I don’t need to pry. I don’t need to know everything, I just need to feel like nothing is hidden. Admittedly I’m lucky that the worst I’ve ever seen on a former partners phone was their weird addiction with mobile games, but that’s something they still wanted to hide

Some women are. As much as I certainly agree with your sentiment, there are too many pick mes who allow abuse to go on for male validation. Think of all the mothers who ignore the allegations from their daughters so their new boyfriend will stick around.

What’s weird is that we all have different opinions and you don’t have to follow every tenant of FDS exactly. We come from different cultures and have different wants from men, but all have the underlying Agreement on wanting better. But nooooo we are all just ranting bitches according to them

Agreed. I have a male doctor who does my breast checks and he’s proven himself in other parts of my care for me to be ok with that. He joked about how he started out only seeing old ladies because the other doctors at his office refused to help them, and he was kind and gentle and funny to me. But honestly without that first build up of trust I wouldn’t have let him. I would not be ok with just a random bloke

I always saw it as almost a tongue in cheek reference to how wives put in more effort. As an example, married, I would be ok picking up some slack in some areas if he picks up slack in others. I do his laundry one week when he’s been working late, he takes me on some nice dinners and makes sure the yards are still maintained. It’s unrealistic to see everything as an equal split, as people do get sick. Now that’s some wife privilege peak; taking care of him when sick. A good HVM deserves that bec…

Low key I love being able to dump male friends the moment they become a genuine burden. I’ve only had to do it a couple of times because I’m super picky about who I’m friends with, but when I do oh my god, it’s such a relief. But then I also am sad because like, I put effort into that friendship. I’m so glad you stood up for yourself. It would be like them telling a plumber how to run a water system when their job is a check out clerk

You could consider printing out a small list of numbers? Maybe like a5 size and then blue tack it to the stall. Then there is less clean up for the workers

I know a few women who want to have children without needing to worry about men, some not even asking for child support. They can support themselves and a child and that’s some queen shit, choosing to have their family like that. But having a child with just a boyfriend? Reminds me of the judge Judy book where she was flabbergasted that marriage was perceived as more of a commitment than a child

There’s literally a solution he could have seen: buy a new one. A HVM would go “ah she’s pregnant, better put a ring on it and immediately buy her a chair because she clearly needs one” but he can’t even manage “my gf is carrying my sprog, maybe I should let her use a comfy chair without complaining”

Literally jesus: do not lear at or harass women, provide for your community, be peaceful and mindful and well socialised. Modern Christian men: why won’t my wife earn not as much as me but also make me food and clean my house and put up with my emotional abuse

As a woman though I do not feel safe enough to be able to confront such violence. It’s sickening that the police barely even touch cases like this; literal solicitation and admitting to illegal acts overseas. Fun fact: my country of Australia prosecutes child predators even if they only offend overseas

Because they are running on a modern narrative of Christianity to ensure they can do things in the bible like having concubines... but what they don’t tell you is that the only men who had extra harems of women, had the money to support them in the first place. Historically harems were supportive groups of women, not sex slave dungeons like western men think they are (but still not ok for modern contexts). So yeah imagine being fully supported to have a kid in a luxury manor surrounded by suppor…

Honestly I wonder if that’s how he feels like he needs to talk to other men. Like considering his other views and talks, it seems almost like a cultural lingo towards trying to get people on his side. Kinda like the “sugar” to make the medicine go down.

I mean, I’m not going to blame the concept of sex work in this case, because this is purely a case of men being absolute dogs. When women are forced into sex work, we should be blaming the men who pay for it, and the men who abuse workers. If men didn’t feel the need to pay for sex workers, then there wouldn’t be a market for it.

Good god that’s almost too nice. I guess if she’s stuck seeing him in social settings I guess it’s good to “keep the peace”

They’re taking advantage of sex workers, many of whom have had no choice but to go into these professions due to the shit society we live in (trafficking, lack of secure jobs, poor welfare systems). This includes trying to get cheaper/free services, deliberately infecting them, and sometimes much more physically violent things
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/10/20 01:59 PM

I’d say gender is the right word because it’s a completely different reaction based on their gender. If a woman/femme doesn’t process their trauma, it often results in self harm in the forms of mental issues, taking on too many caring roles, and other internal issues. When a man doesn’t, it leads to violence and harm towards others (including in gay relationships).

I pay my own electricity bill mate. I support men’s rights, and that includes men in minority groups, because they are still being shot in the street by uncaring cops, refused medical care from doctors who don’t understand men’s health, and who are suffering from OH&S issues that unscrupulous businesses are ignoring. Are you saying those men don’t need help?

Just jumping in here: the original feminists were often racist pieces of shit too. However, things move on, and ideas change and grow. I really really dislike second and third wave, specially with “I hate men” attitudes. But I love intersectional feminist ideas, specially racially inclusive types. A lot of feminists forget that statements such as “I hate men” erase queer men, men of colour, trans men, and every other bloke who has been a victim of patriarchal rule in the form of emotional put do…
