| 1 | Serious question: Why do they keep saying they were both abusive in the Depp-Heard case?I would also add that, over time, that reactionary explosion also becomes a defensive response. If the abused is hit often enough, they will flinch and guard themselves when being near the abuser, even for minor motions like scratching their nose. The same goes for emotional abuse. If the abused is constantly being screamed at and berated, the smallest smirk may set off the same response as a huge blow out.
