There is still a lot of ignorance about this cause, and I see that the exposure still mostly receives responses of disbelief or hostility. I don't think we are in the second phase yet, although we are certainly much better off. I think it will be impossible until popular dogmas like patriarchy are cracked.

Of course MRA is more pertinent in this sub, but you may prefer masculinist as it is the ideology that encompasses all that is worthwhile in this area, rather than a specific movement. I tend to go with egalitarian, it implies a lot more, but no one misunderstands it with misogyny and I save myself labels. Being one depends on your ideas and will, not by your gender. I doubt it will happen to you, but I encourage you not to let anyone exclude you or consider you second class.

Perhaps, I find it a bit difficult to argue that these terrible comments are serious or that they can really incite anyone. With the new spanish trans law, as long as the judicial process is started after legal gender reassignment (which only requires a bureaucratic process), the perpetrator will be treated with the desired gender even in legal asymmetries. I really have a rather dubious stance on this, but I have noticed that censorship in no case seems to make those thoughts disappear, even across generations. In fact they seem to become more extreme and, rather than being contained, I wonder if they are a pressure cooker waiting to explode.

It is curious to compare it with the ukrainian case, (with exceptions, but to summarize) they forbade all men to leave the country just before the war and persecute those who try to flee, they also forcibly conscript all men including those who did not perform military service. You say it's terrifying to see someone with force using it, but it's quite unfair to not take into consideration how much force is being used. A woman can use all her strength to beat up and injure a man while people laugh, and when a man uses less force than her to push her away or defend himself people are also horrified. Nor would there be laughter at an assault by a weak man on a strong woman, woman on woman or man on man. It seems clear that there is a gender component.

There are studies like the UN that say that 97-98% of women have been "sexually harassed", respect to the victims! For the argument that females bring skills other than physical fitness, if any such skill is important, it should be measured in a gender neutral way. Or they could just create another job for it, but of course, it wouldn't make sense to give them the same pay. I wouldn't even be shocked if it was done in irrelevant jobs, but it is especially done in critical jobs like police or firefighters. These decisions give votes to useless politicians, but this also necessarily costs lives.
