Whats wrong with being 300lbs? I'm 6'4" and weigh 300lbs and am not fat at all. I have a lot of muscle but would certainly not consider myself fat.

As corny as this sounds, it's definitely a good, easy way to break the ice. After a few drinks it wont be as hard to approach her and say, in a joking way, something like: "Hey, so you wanna make out now?" (Or use your imagination) and see what she says. If she says no or laughs it off then whatever. No harm, no foul, right? And no one has to be uncomfortable or feel awkward about it like you would if you just straight up approached her.

I agree with what you're saying but his point is the fact that these girls who do OLD are getting hit on every single day by several guys. I agree with this 1000%. Tells it like it is, no holds barred, and he's absolutely right. If you are actively searching for a date or a good fuck all weekend and can't find at least one then something is seriously wrong there. Social circles don't even count as far as I'm concerned. At the driving range, lol. "It's working overtime" "Glad to hear that!" The Departed is my favorite movie of all time next to Jarhead. It's so busy around here because of all the colleges and universities, and because it's a tourist town. Should see the beach bars in July, holy hell. I live in Tampa, Florida. The night life here is twice the size it was in Boston, tbh... I wasn't describing myself, just saying that as most people get older (30's) they usually tend to have a small social circle they would consider friends and a lot tend to focus more on their careers. My point is that the size of your social circle shouldn't be a major factor in that regard.

What part of the south are you talking about? I'm in Tampa/Clearwater area and I don't agree with that at all. We have a pretty level playing field here for everyone. I work at a popular bar here and I see all walks of life. In fact, I see it to be the complete opposite of what you said. Far more girls than guys for sure. Maybe it's just this area, idk. But I have no problems with that here..I have dated far more women here in 1 year time than I did in several years up north.

This. If you're out looking for a woman to take home then looks play the biggest factor, idc what anyone says. No, you dont need to be a male model but think about it... if you're an out of shape guy with unkempt hair and a gut, and there's a few other guys in the bar that are decent looking, in good shape, and dressed well...who are the women going to focus more on?? Confidence, mystery, and non-neediness are definitely the 3 key words here. Not so much for being a "bad boy" but in general. And with the overpopulation of desperate, insecure, needy/clingy guys these days it's a pretty rare thing for a guy to have those qualities. Sense of humor is a bonus but not mandatory, and social circle is ehh unless you're 20 years old.

Hey man, I wasn't knocking you at all, just being honest...not sure what you mean by "wishful thinking" but from my experience I do know that one night stands and FWB's are almost always based solely on looks and appeal, and relationships are based on everything else. Confidence is key in both situations. I also work at a popular bar and see this shit every night. If you're not confident then the only thing you're going home with is an empty wallet.
