Imagine being that much of a petty bitch. You don't even have to be religious like them; just the sheer disdain for the rights of others over their private property is disgusting.

All jokes aside, stuff like this is extremely interesting to me. What would be his reaction seeing a woman for the first time at 20? 30? 50? 80? Really stokes my curiosity.

Unfortunately I have never went down that route, so any info I give would be second hand stuff that I've heard from others. I will say though that I have consistently heard good things about italki.

Not that guy, but like anything, put in work and you will get results. Japanese classes tend to go 100x slower than you can go yourself if you have motivation and drive. At my university they taught the kana over several weeks. I learned them in a day. And that isn't me trying to pump myself up; I'm nothing special. Point being, even if you take classes to hold yourself accountable to some sort of required, structured learning, I would recommend going beyond that and learning more on your own. Y…

Lol can I hire you to check the keigo in my emails? If your Japanese colleagues can't get it right how am I supposed to do it as someone who has never set foot in the country? All jokes aside, I agree wholeheartedly with your disdain for people who are in the country and make no effort to learn. Achieving native-level fluency is very difficult, but reaching general fluency or even the level it takes to hold everyday conversation is by no means a Herculean task. Anyone who refuses to put forth ev…

It really is horrifying isn't it. That's a completely neutral sub, by the way. I mean, it says it in the name, and that can't be a lie, right?

While I had a good chuckle at your comment, I'll take it as an opportunity to be a bit real about the issue for a second. Bullshit like that doesn't hurt the true geniuses. Odds are they are able to get where they want to be. Who it hurts is people who are on the fringe ranging to the people who are solidly above average. The geniuses tend to make it fine, it's these people who would get overlooked in favor of someone who scores higher in the intersectionality scale.

Yep. I'd wager it's more common among women but there are plenty of men who have no hobbies.

Because within the past year or two NPCs have commandeered the word as a shorthand for virtue signalling. "Yikes" essentially equals "I am broadcasting to the world how virtuous I am by expressing my distaste at this individual's undesirable opinions. I won't offer any rebuttal or anything in the way of refuting them, but I am still here to express my distaste nonetheless."

Wikipedia is great for mathematics and the hard sciences. For politics or anything even remotely cultural it is a dumpster fire.

Whoever does needs to put good hard thought into the moderation system (for individual boards). A lot of the woke BS comes from the site admins, but plenty of it doesn't. I've come to think this is because power hungry losers with nothing else going for them in life gravitate to such positions at a higher rate than chill people who just want to let people do their thing (so long as it stays on topic).

You can't win with them. It is impossible to have an actual productive back and forth with someone who can't string cohesive arguments together or comprehend the arguments presented to them. You can't reason with someone who is unable to spot objectively faulty logic when it is staring them right in the face. Brainwashing and indoctrination are frighteningly strong and effective.

Someone: Rightly points out that the vast majority of the media is pretty much an arm of the Democratic party Leftists: bUt fOX nEWs! Every time. Fox News is a neocon network. Notice how 90% of their commentators literally have a conniption whenever Trump does something that steers away from war/conflict? Their ilk is more the Jeb Bush/Mitt Romney crowd (guys that hate Trump). There are some individual pro Trump commentators, namely Carlson and Hannity, but their slant is not even the same order…

Kinda easy to incorrectly lump people though - like some people vote left because they are against corrupt mega corporations, want to move towards universal healthcare, are aware that Regan-era trickle down concepts is a total failure, don't want Soc Security taken away, etc. They aren't all about promoting gender crap and so on Okay, we seemingly don't agree on everything but I'm not gonna freak out on someone or denigrate them for thinking that way. Oh, and also of course because our current p…

I'd like it to go much farther but I personally can't complain about $100 more per month. Obviously YMMV depending on how much you make and how you were filing your taxes before.

and we’re doing quite well, so it seems these stats are pretty legit I'm glad it's going well and I wish you all the best. That being said, this is not the attitude to have. The stats would be legit even if your personal situation didn't align with them. Nothing more frustrating than debating with people who think their personal situations or anecdotes they have heard somehow disprove aggregate statistics that are the result of millions of data points.

The fact that this girl receives tax payer money is horrifying. What value is she adding to the military? Pumping gas thing, as dumb as she is for it, completely aside. Just from her 6 pounds of makeup, her mannerisms, and the way she talks, you can completely tell she is a total diva. What can someone like that bring to the table? Does the military recruit valley girls to operate beauty salons on military bases or something?

It makes them bad decisions in the current social paradigm. It means this man shoulda seen this coming; it doesn't mean it's right for him to be arrested. It just makes him dumb for doing it in the first place.

It's absolutely reasonable to not want to be touched. But to be arrested for what this guy did? Clown world to the max. He should have seen this coming but that doesn't make it not fucked up.

You seem to have misinterpreted my post. I am calling the poster that I am responding to naive. "...if you genuinely think [being a good husband and father] is all it takes then you are beyond naive." As your scenario illustrates, men in our society can be fucked over on a mere whim. Merely being a great husband or father cannot save one from all the bullshit.

Come on dude even you know it isn't that simple. I generally find a lot of people here to be a too bitter or black pilled, but if you genuinely think that's all it takes then you are beyond naive.

I think most of them are accelerationists. In that they believe the only way forward is to hasten some sort of societal collapse and start from the ground up. I don't think very many here are left wing due to them genuinely believing that it's best for humanity.

A lot of people in HCOL areas would scoff at that salary and say it's hardly living the dream, but where I live and in much of the country you can live very very well off of that much; especially if you're single. Good for him.

I hate her as much as anyone but I think it's a bit off the mark to call her stupid. She is evil and malicious, and often says stupid shit to pander to specific groups for votes; but I wouldn't say she's stupid overall, even if she has done or said some stupid things.

That was just me being humorous to fuck with you. If I have to spell out for you the fact that calling someone a fuckhole doesn't mean you are thinking of them sexually, then I don't know what to say. Just like me telling you to go fuck yourself doesn't actually mean I am picturing you fucking yourself or want you to attempt to do so. Or me calling you a pussy doesn't mean I think you have a pussy, and doesn't even mean I gave it even a single thought if you actually did.

Upvoted for the sentiment because it's spot on but there is about a 0% chance that is an actual Japanese woman. Two simple and fundamental grammar mistakes in the first sentence as if to cement the fact that they supposedly aren't a native English speaker. Then follow that up with perfect grammar and flawless prose the rest of the way save for one minor spelling error. I don't buy it for a second but that dude who is LARPing as a Japanese woman is 100% spot on.

I'd say MGTOWs generally are blackpilled on politics because they know there is no salvation in it. But of course they still vote. Yeah there are a bunch of factions within MGTOW with respect to politics. Like you said I would bet that most voted Trump. Then you probably have a sizeable faction that abstain because like you said they are black pilled. Then there's a smaller faction that votes left because they genuinely believe it's better. And then I've even encountered some individuals who vot…

You seem to be making a lot of invalid assumptions about me. Imagine being so fragile that anyone disagreeing with you has to be a caricature that fits into some predefined stereotype mold. You speak as if I'm on the outside looking in, but I've been a gamer myself my entire life. Was Trump wrong to say video games are part of the problem? Absolutely. He deserves to be criticized for it, he was criticized for it, and continues to be. Am I going to freak out about it when I know zero moves will b…

I notice a similar pattern here that I've seen all over reddit... "Omg Trump lies so incredibly much it's ridiculous" "Got some examples?" "I'm not interested in a discussion" Props to you for being chill about it because I simply can't handle those types of people.

Thank you! I'm still amazed that I never knew about this. It isn't like I am relatively disconnected either I do my best to keep myself up to speed. I was believing the SR story before there was any evidence at all simply because it was the only thing that made any sense at all. If someone like me never stumbled upon this how could a blue-pilled normie be expected to? Thanks, I'll be using these links a lot in the future.

Libel and slander are not free speech. It's stunning that there are people who don't understand this. If you say/write something that is objectively false in order to tarnish someone's good name, and they suffer provable damage as a result, that is against the law and you can be sued for that. It's very clear this is what that quote refers to. The issue is that the media can hire top tier lawyers so they know exactly how to word things so they can be as propagandistic as possible without being a…

You keep on nagging me some like obsessive woman. You are the one acting like a woman though as you made a bunch of strong statements that would require defending, and when confronted with actual numerical data as counterpoints you whine about how you aren't interested in a discussion.

In a year or two when literally nothing happens on that front will you take a step back to realize that he said that for a convenient scapegoat at the time? Sure it was entirely incorrect but if you actually think he's "coming for our video games" you are delusional.

Anyone who hates the current Democratic party (what it has turned into over the past 5-10 years) should vote for Trump and GOP House/Senate candidates in 2020, even if you don't like Trump. There is a simple reason beyond simply Democrats being the worse choice right now. They need to get beaten so damn badly that they look in the mirror and are forced to reform and disavow all the crazies that have made them march left off a cliff. If they don't do this, we might be caught between a rock and a …

It's the biggest problem with MGTOW honestly. Most here come off as painting with a bit too broad of a brush. It can probably put a lot of people off. Even if a lot of the generalizations here are correct 90%+ of the time, the rest of it will bug people. Not all women are evil and I couldn't blame someone if they came here and got the impression that it's just a bunch of women hating incels even if that isn't remotely true.

From what I can tell, that is less them going their own way and more that work is so demanding that relationships become super hard to near impossible when both individuals are working. I think the vast majority of single men over there want relationships, they just are unable to get them, so I wouldn't call them MGTOW.

Studies have shown that millennials are in fact more concerned with fairness than merit. Which is a nice way of saying entitlement. If you have a source for this I definitely need it in my life. Coincides 100% with my personal findings. Would be nice to have something formal because there are some people who only accept calls to authority as arguments.

how fake and vain all of them are I've done a lot of thinking lately as to why I dislike most of the people I dislike and this is exactly what I came up with. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks this. EDIT: This seems to positively correlate with high levels of social media use.

Am I the only one who looked at the picture and knew that it was just trying to be funny and not necessarily trying to say that this actual picture was one of those cases? I don't think it's out here trying to deceive you about this particular case but rather just trying to be funny about a phenomena we all know exists. I mean, come on now, no one is going to pose like a cuck smiling and holding a baby that clearly isn't theirs. That alone gives it away.
