I think it depends how far along you are in dating with one another. Also, the biggest thing is becoming needy or texting just for the sake of texting vs. texting for fun and flirting

Oh yeah I see that. To me however it feels like I have substance, and as soon as I show any sign of vulnerability or anything of actual substantial value, they flee. I could be overthinking too but I feel like I am not trying to trick people into it. Then again I could be just attracting the type of girls who are noncommital and looking for nothing with commitment at the moment

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. They are definitely more of the party girls who probably fuck a lot of guys. I think that was my mistake there as those girls or so afraid of commitment. I will try to enjoy myself as best I can
