Honestly, you could make an interesting "WWII from a woman's perspective" film. It would probably have to be UK or French-centric, or if you wanted to really go for the art-house crowd, set in Germany or occupied territories. The problem is that a US-centric WWII-women movie wouldn't have that much direct exposure to the war experience.
