Yes I agree fully, men should be given a way out of child support.

'A man is a fool to get involved with a woman.' Really? You do realise that not every woman is like this right?

He can date someone else? I mean if I was dating someone who didn't want kids I would never consider staying with them, they aren't compatible with what I want from life. And on the abortion thing, if I did somehow get pregnant I would consider my SO's opinion but I would hate to think if I didn't want it and he did that I would be forced to carry an unwanted child for 9 months. Yes women should consider their partners opinions but it is their bodies. Not sure if I am getting the right idea from…

Wait so you think that men should have a say in abortions when the females have are the ones who have to carry the child? I am confused.

I take issue with your statement but I can't pick it, I kinda feel this is very over generalized. Is this from experience?

I assume by 'staggering amount' you mean a significant percentage or just more than one would assume? I have to wonder what generation you are because my mother tells me about how her father would tell her to not worry about an education/job because she can marry rich (Yes her male role model told her this), as was the scenario for a lot of other women at that time. It is just the way things were, now days my mother has always told me that I NEED a good education and a job because because there …

I feel the wording of the title makes it seem like an attack on women, also it being posted to MensRights. What is your point with this?
/r/MensRights29/12/11 03:13 PM

The same could be argued for women. There is the whole 'don't intimidate your date by saying your a lawyer / doctor because the man must have the better job and be able to be the main bread winner'. Luckily this is the minority for both cases. I think your dates would be more annoyed by the fact that you lied to them.

I think it is also part to do with women thinking 'Oh what do men have to complain about, how have they been treated unfairly'. As a female when I first heard of this subreddit I thought to myself 'Oh here we go, a bunch of men whining about how their lives are soo hard, great'. I think is she had honestly read through the posts she would have discovered like me that this subreddit has merit. (Such as r/menrights tackling male rape and the unfairness in custody cases, generally custody going str…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
