35	50/50 I'm female so I'm not completely one way or the other. In my opinion the parent who can provide the best care and environment for the children should have custody, regardless of gender. I see what you mean about term time but that still leaves 13 weeks holiday a year in the UK. 13	50/50 I don't get it, the article is discussing a mother that has her children 5 out of 7 days a week isn't it? That's hardly 50/50 childcare and isn't really a completely new thing. 20 years ago, when I was a kid, this seemed to be a common set up for kids with divorced parents. It's not equal and shouldn't be set that way purely based on gender. I really feel courts should have to make their decisions based on 'Parent A' and 'Parent B' rather than 'mother' and 'father'.
