Yeah, I'm sorry you had to deal with it later than sooner. After seeing my dad go through it multiple times in his 30's really hit home in retrospect. Not going through that vicious cycle like he did.

Thanks man. No kids, thankfully, so it was a pretty clean split. I didn't have any real money either, so I got away free.

So true. I find it so strange that people are so terrified of independence, when most of their complaints could be solved by being independent. Oddly enough, I had a very violent, and volatile wife, so I felt more scared when I was sleeping with her around, than I do now that I'm alone.

Thanks man, while it sucks we've been through hell, the camaraderie is appreciated. The blank slate is awesome, I'm just glad I'm 22. I learned early, and have a whole life to live.

Thanks man, it was tough, but I got through it, and I'm building up better than ever. Honestly it was more draining and stressful being married, than dealing with the divorce; mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially.

This is actually what prompted me to post, for different reasons however. In relation to what you said though, I have definitely come to realize my preference is solitude/independence. It really amazes me how obsessed and concerned most men are with safety.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
