I think the disagreement here stems from two different meanings of (or two different interpretations of) the word "asshole". I think /u/ghost521 believes you are implying he's an asshole as a semi-permanent character trait, whereas /u/earthleague is saying that certain subjective contexts can come clear enough to scrub the asshole accusation from someone who is displaying asshole behavior.
